The team at Theydons handled the sale of our house very professionally. They provided excellent advice from valuation right through to negotiating a final price with our buyers. They provided a great service with regular communication, and in particular we would highlight the professional support provided throughout to us by James and Taryn. We have advertised or bought through several different estate agents in recent years, and this was our most positive experience so far. Would highly recommend Theydons.

I really cannot praise Theydons enough. From the outset when James came to value the property I could tell he new the market and what the property was worth. He valued it �30 000 more than the other agents and obtained an extra �32 000 on top of that when it went to offers. The sale was very difficult as I was tying in a lease extension during which the freeholder died leaving no will and as such was very very complicated. Theydons and I must mention Taryn specifically here were always professional super efficient and fast in their replies and definately made the sale happen through hard work and excellent communication . Always calm and supportive and giving the correct advise. I cannot praise Taryn and her team highly enough.

Theydons in Leytonstone sold our house to us originally and just recently sold it on for us after 6 years. My main contact was Taryn on both occasions and she was brilliant! She was always calm and talked us through every stage of the process and generally did everything she could to made the whole thing a lot more bearable...even dealing with our vendors tricky agent on my behalf. I recently recommended them to a friend of mine who had viewed nearly 25 properties with various agents with no luck, and within a few weeks of working with Theydons she had had an offer accepted on a property, and has just completed. She had the same pain-free experience as me.

I found that sometimes information about the current status of the transaction was not being relayed to me very quickly and on several occasions I had to physically go in to find out if any developments had taken place. However the way in which they presented my flat and the pictures they used was to a very high standard. I was happy with this. When ever dealing with them I found them to be polite and professional at all times.

I was very happy with all the help I received up to the day completion. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful, understood that we needed to complete quickly and done everything in the power to help to complete.
But when we were due to complete I rang up to explain that I would not be able to completely clear or clean the house and was very happy to pay for a contractor to come in and clear/clean the house. I was very surprised to receive a quite angry email and phone call from another member of staff at Theydons stating that the purchaser was not happy with how we left the house (even though I said I would pay to have the house put in to order). I don't know if this was a miscommunication at Theydons but I did not appreciate the email or phone call.
