Richard James has been fantastic. After our first house sale fell through with another agent, we turned to them, and they've been amazing. The team provided us with invaluable support and advice, which really helped ease the stress of the process. Claire has kept us updated every step of the way since our house sold, ensuring we felt informed and reassured. Gareth, Isobel, Beau, and the entire team were outstanding in organising and arranging viewings. Special thanks to Danny Hale for always being there with advice and support whenever challenges arose. We highly recommend Richard James and would not hesitate to use them again!

Excellent estate agency! Forever impressed over the years when we needed the help of Richard James staff when selling/moving and or interested in viewing/buying a property under their sales portfolio.
Recently they helped us sell a property in Redhouse, Swindon and I want to thank Claire Godwin and Izzy Bowles for all their efforts, guidance and professionalism throughout the whole process as much appreciated.

A constant stream of viewings and the team worked to introduce potential buyers, not just waiting for them to call in. I would definitely recommend!!

Richard James were brilliant from start to finish. My house was viewed within 24 hours of going on the market, viewings were quick and efficient and very respectful of my space and time. The house sold quickly and Claire took over and really took chasing solicitors to a whole new level. Sadly it took a while to go through but Claire chased a lot and kept me in the loop all the time. They are all lovely people who make a stressful process less stressful! We now have our second property on the market with them as well!

Amazing Service - Could Not Fault
We used Richard James to sell our house and started the process in September 2022.
Isobel came round our house initially to discuss costs etc and she was professional, helpful and ran through everything with me. Once the house was on the market organising viewings was easy and she came and showed all potential buyers round. During this time communications were fantastic, every query we had was answered and feedback was given after every viewing.
Once we had sold the house we moved across to Claire who helped progress our sale and purchase of our new house. Again, she was fabulous providing us with updates as and when received and answering all my silly questions. She also chased all our solicitors to make sure that everything was always moving. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
A fabulous service that I would not hesitate in recommending. Thank you all again so much for all your help and support. You have made a stressful process a lot less stressful for us. :)

Can't really fault the service we received from Richard James. The initial approach and quote was very organised and professional and they had evidently done their homework, which was nicely presented. Viewings were organised and conducted in an efficient manner and offers presented to us.
Following the agreement, their sales progression team handled everything between buyers, sellers and solicitors and were much much better than our solicitors in keeping us updated about every stage. Again, never a delay in getting back to us and always with a friendly manner that made it a joy to speak to them, rather than dreading calling or emailing then. At the same time, updates were efficient and not just spam to justify their existence. Really felt like they were 'our agents'; looking after our interests. In a seller's market, its easier to sell a property, but all the work that goes on until completion should not be overlooked.
Can't say if online agents could offer as good a service, but it genuinely feels like Richard James earned their fee.

Imogen Hall has been absolutely fantastic and is a total asset to her employers Richard James Estate agents. The agency have been great in recommending properties and had a good understanding of our requirements all along. Imogen not only found our new home but also kept us updated as there was a brief delay due to a legal technicality. Once overcome she advised us of suitable viewing dates and in fact conducted the 1st viewing herself. Within a week we had our 2nd viewing with her colleague Izzy and she was also very professional and followed up today resulting in an accepted offer. A great experience with this office and especially with Imogen. She will go far in the realms of real estate. Many thanks
