If I could leave 0 stars I would. Too many issues to put into 1 review, but main dispute was around return of deposit following a move out and lack of any action during tenancy. Staff at HS completely unaware of the rules in place to protect tenants, made incorrect assessments and I had to goto the deposit protection scheme to return the deposit that was rightfully mine. While we lived there complete lack of resolving issues and the one time they did, their handyman is nothing more than a guy in a car who turns up unannounced after he finished his day job. Not exactly professional repairs. Absolute rip off merchants who literally do nothing for their monthly fee from the rent. If they try to take deposit off you it is probably not lawful as they do not know the rules at all. Avoid at all costs. Also had poor record keeping from previous lettings team which meant conversations I had were not recorded anywhere and basically accused of being a liar. Good job TDS saw through them. I dealt with Cameron and Isobel for the end of tenancy, both very polite but clueless as to the rules around long tenancies and wear and tear. Tired to charge me for the landlords extension lead blowing 3 weeks after I moved out!! Previously dealt with George who didn't turn upto 3 pre arranged inspections then to send me a snotty letter saying it was overdue. Absolute amateurs.
