After already losing faith in humanity, I am very pleased that this has been by far the best agency experience I have had in the past years. For the first time, I felt personally addressed in all correspondence and there was clear evidence that Karien and the team worked with the intention of doing their best for all parties. Whilst some requests could not be fulfilled due to the landlord trying to keep costs to a minimum, the agency was always very responsive and understanding to any requests. It simply felt nice to be treated as a human again by an agency. Karien responded with empathy and consideration when there were any personal issues and I am just very grateful for that. Thank you very much for making me believe that there are still positive and human agencies out there. I

Flat in Town was an excellent agency. They enabled a respectful and fluent relationship with the landlord of our property throughout the 3 and half years we were tenants. They helped raise every problem or issue we faced promptly in a human manner.
Their members of staff acted professionally and treated us with respect acknowledging our rights and being transparent about issues related to the property and the overall building. Their response rate was 100% efficient. I have to highlight now that I can compare with other agencies I have dealt with, they never entered the property to take pictures of the property while we were living there which now feels like a very respectful way to trust us and not intrude our private life.

We have used the services of A Flat In Town for 10 years as landlords (and before that for a year as tenants), and the experience was so good that it exceeded all our expectations. As landlords living abroad, we were fully dependent on A Flat In Town's competency and trustworthiness, and those got repeatedly confirmed to the highest possible degree. All paperwork, looking for tenants, flat inspections, repairs, energy reports etc. got handled for us; we were always kept in the loop for the important decisions but never bothered with unnecessary work. We have been kept up to date about relevant regulations without being overwhelmed by long legal texts. But it did not stop there. Talking to A Flat In Town felt more like talking to friends, everybody did their best to help us even beyond their contractual duties. We stopped being landlords because we wanted to sell the flat, but we felt really sad about no longer being A Flat In Town's customers.
