Paid a £380 holding fee after finding a wonderful property and was given a move in date. Paid a £380 holding fee after finding a wonderful property and was given a move in date. Booked time off work, arranged delivery van and started to box all our possessions only to be told a week later that the owner had decided to let the property privately. The time, energy and money wasted on this "transaction" is quite absurd. It's not a personal criticism and Alex was understanding of my annoyance but I do feel though that as a letting agent, there surely should be a contractual arrangement between the owner and agency to ensure this does not happen. I will absolutely not use C J Hole again as a result.

I viewed lots of rental properties with several different agents but one stood out of the crowd.....Cj Hole. I was particularly impressed with the level of customer service I received from Alex Jones, he would always update me when new properties came onto the market and would go out of his way to arrange viewings that did not always fit around CJ Hole normal working hours. If I was a landlord I would be very happy knowing that this company actively promote there properties and that they are in regular contact with perspective tenants.Some of the other agents I registered with did not even call me once!

We highly recommend CJ Hole as a letting agent. They understood our requirements and were highly dedicated to finding us a suitable property. They had a great range of houses available for us to see. Alex and Janice dealt with everything professionally and efficiently, keeping us informed of progress and delivering excellent customer service.
Having previously used letting agents, we were nervous about beginning our search. Typically the process of finding a new house is time consuming and stressful. CJ Hole however surprised us by making the process entirely pain free. Once we found the property we wanted, everything was secured and signed off in under a week.
If we were to rent again, I wouldn't choose anyone else!

Alex Jones has been professional and courteous at all times. His allocation of time has been 100%. He has kept me informed on a regular basis, with the friendliest of manner.
Jenny and Janice have demonstrated maximum efficiency at all times.
Your premises are of a high, welcoming standard.
I will have no hesitation in approaching Cj Hole again for marketing purposes. I have much appreciated the open and honest approach of the staff.

Even though I didn't end up renting a flat from C J Hole - this was purely down to not having anything suitable at the time, there was nothing more that they could have done.
If I have to find a new place to rent again in 6/12months time, I won't hesitate using them again. Thank you Alex for all your help.
