I recently bought my new home from Brock Taylor. Ollie Turner & Sarah Weale dealt with my purchase.
I was extremely pleased with the whole process throughout. Both Ollie & Sarah were very friendly, polite and constantly ‘kept me posted!’ They were very proactive from start to finish and frequently pursued the solicitors to ensure that all the legalities were being carried out and that exchange & completion took place before Christmas.
What also pleased me was that my calls and enquiries were acknowledged & answered promptly. Great communication, which is vital.
Thank you Ollie & Sarah. I absolutely love my new abode. Also many thanks for the lovely wooden box of local produce.

The Tenant Fees Act 2019 bans cleaning fees if tenants leave the property in the same condition as it was they moved in, after taking into account fair wear and tear
Brock Taylor insist they will make a £300 charge for professional cleaning even before tenants have moved out and before the check out inspection has been carried out.
They say this fee will apply even if tenants employ their own professional cleaners before moving out.
This is illegal as it contravenes the Tenant Fees Act 2019 which says -
"If your tenancy commenced after 31 May 2019 you cannot be charge a fee for a professional clean. If it commenced before 1 June 2019 you can only be charged a fee for a professional clean when you check-out up until 31 May 2020 even if the tenancy allows for a professional clean".

Our property was on the market with another local agent for 6 months. We had not received any offers even after dropping the price, and had very limited viewings. Within a week of changing agents to Brock Taylor, they had lined up at least 8 viewings. The property was sold within 2 months, having 3 offers from 3 different prospective buyers. We wished we'd approached Brock Taylor in the first instance, they are a very professional estate agents and would highly recommend them.

In April we found a property to buy through Brock Taylor. Sadly as we were unable to sell our own property near Dorking, we couldn't proceed with the purchase. (Our house had been on the market at this time for 2 months without a single viewing, with another agent. At which point we took it off the market, dispondently!) Brock Taylor really impressed us with their proactiveness & professionalism at the time we wanted to buy. As a result, when we were in a position to once again put our property back on the Market 3 months later, my husband decided Brock Taylor would be the best agents for us given our experience as potential buyers just a few months ago. I had reservations given our property was outside of the Horsham area, albeit only by a few miles, but still a significant distance. I needn't have worried. They have surpassed all expectation. They have operated in an honest, realistic way. They managed our expectations throughout and advised us on a strategy which would help sell our property best. We have not had to chase or prompt them for feedback or information. We were kept regularly informed throughout. Our property was on the market with them for two weeks and after a successful open day, we received an offer on our property! (Actually we received 3 offers which was thrilling). Although we are only at the beginning of the process of the sale of our property, hand on heart, we can say that Brock Taylor are a 'no nonsense', professional and trustworthy estate agent!

Suzanna was flexible and professional in her approach and as helpful as possible throughout the process. After viewing the property on the Wednesday we were able to move in within 11 days thanks to the agencies speed and and good contact with the landlord.
Since we have moved in Jason has managed the property excellently with quick email replies and again being very helpful.

Also, we were advise with enough anticipation that a couple of works were to be done (changing meters/cooker) and so, we did not have any type of disturbance.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
