I have been trying for 4 days to get someone to respond to my request to view a property. WOW...I am so glad I'm not a land owner using this company to help me sell/rent a property. I do wonder how the owner of the property that I am trying to view would feel knowing that potential clients cant even get a call-back?
If the area I am looking had more choices and I had more time then I'd probably just move on but as it is I don't have a lot of choices. I cant wait to finally meet the landlord so I can explain to him/her just how difficult it was...

I rented via Express Letting Agency for 2.5 years. Their service was great and their attempts to get through to the landlord were very much appreciated. everything that was within their reach they did well.
My landlord, on the other hand, was terrible. This is something to which I do not hold the agents responsible. Even then, when the landlord was unresponsive, Lauren and later Jessica did try to provide me with help and solutions within their reach.

express agency via Lydia Conway have been incredibly helpful in dealing with my property to rent . Her manner is extremely friendly and informative without the off putttng " hard sell " one expects from such agencies. I think she could sell snow to the Eskimos !
Furthermore, she had my property details on the various web sites really fast and the next morning she rang with 2 prospective viewings ! VERY IMPRESSIVE LYDIA!

The team have been average with the letting, they have been helpful with my current tenant however as a first time landlord i found the process slow and awaiting information a lot of the time. The team are lovely to talk to, helpful when needed but i would say communication needs to step up better and when arranging the viewings the quality of potential tenants was really poor. These should be qualified prior as i had a lot of time wasted doing the viewings myself.

Express did what was best for me at the time. They duel listed my flat as rent while another listed the sale.
I would never have thought of this alone. Turns out it was brilliant!
I had little time and my sale would be small so they encouraged me to put my flat for a good rent 100 more than before.
The 2 ladies were amazing. They made a stressful situation less stressful and wven engaged with me on a personal level. They kept me up dated and helped me rent out the flat to a nice family.
You do have to do the viewings yourself so be prepared but they give you advice and support all the way.
They were always nice and pleasent. If there were errors they took it on bored and resolved them there was no passing the buck or blamong me, it was excellent! Couldn't be happier. And they will always be there for advice even though i am not using them as a management company (for personal reasons )
The only bad thing is i will miss our daily chats now i have a tenant.

Development areas - Communication can potentially be a lot better if the agents spoke to the landlord rather than landlords chasing them for all updates. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
