Having been both a tenant and a landlord for the last 13 years I have never worked with a such an incompetent, unprofessional and rude establishment. Having rented a property from them for 5 years, they tried charging extortionate fees at every corner. They repeatedly showed up at the property for inspections without any prior notice. The worst and most disgusting behavior of all was when they put the property on the market and started showing tenants round without permission whilst I was on holiday despite me stating in writing that I wanted to continue the tenancy. On vacation, the property was left in a good condition however tried charging me for every little mark on the wall and took over 75% of the deposit which is currently being disputed. They are also being reported to the property ombudsman for their unprofessional and unlawful behavior. It seems other customers have a similar view and have doubt their business will not last the distance. Whether you are a tenant or a landlord I would avoid them at all costs unless you want to be overcharged for a substandard service.

Sep 20, 2018Unfortunately, this tenant would never get a reference form us due to the condition he left the property in, a brand-new property when he moved in, that had to be fully re-carpeted & repainted throughout when he left. Had he been the landlord of this property he would have been as appalled as we were at the condition. We have never had a property Ombudsman complaint from him. We would only remarket a property when a tenant does not respond in 6-8 weeks about their renewal as per this tenant's situation. We must also think about the landlord having a potentially void property & he was informed several times the property might need to be remarketed unless we know what he wanted to do with regards to his renewal. As you can see we treated the situation very fairly. This tenant also did other things in the property we would not stoop so low as to feed-back what this was. All our viewings & inspections are always confirmed with at least 24 hours' notice to tenants unless agreed otherwise. We will email, text, phone write, or a combination of to ensure communication is given on all occasions.
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
