We recently completed our sale using Elephant and were lucky enough that Elephant were the agents for our onward purchase too. Throughout the entire process from the initial valuation on our property (Alec), through the viewings on our property (Alys), to negotiating our sale (Sam), then also viewing our new property (Alys), and the entire management process of the purchase and sale (Alys) I cannot fault Elephant at all. They were this constant calming influence and trusted voice in the mad world of buying and selling property in Bristol. We threw a few 'curveballs and complications' at Elephant along the way and it was never too much hassle or effort for them to deal with and they always found the best way forward for us and others involved (even when I have no doubt inside they were cursing us - they never let on and just gave honest advice and support). I have so much praise for the whole team at Elephant (and we prob dealt with them all at some point!). They take a complicated and messy process and make it simple and ensure you are well informed and supported the whole way through. No question was ever too stupid for them and they act with professionalism and transparency throughout. Alys was our main contact for the majority of the process. I was so impressed with her style and ability to get things moving. She always knew exactly who and what we were waiting on and was always there to push things along - and always with a cheery outlook. I actually almost miss our weekly (daily at points!) calls and emails. Even when it felt like the entire chain was against her she was calm and patient with people and most importantly got it all to happen. I hear constant horror stories from friends about thier estate agents and this is so far from my experience with Elephant. They are honest, honorable, and straightforward people and worth every single penny of the fee we paid them. When we come to sell again we will not even be bothering to speak to another estate agent. I just hope they are also selling the next place we want to buy too! Thank you Alys, and the whole Elephant team. We honestly cannot thank you enough for getting this one over the line. See you in a few years!
Comments on Agent Fees
Total value for money. Especially considering the effort they put in to the project management part of the process I would actual consider them a total bargain to be honest. We were only selling a small flat so the % fee they got was essentially also small - yet I feel the service we received was no where near small and more in line with if we were selling a mansion!

We have used Elephant once for buying and now for selling. I honestly don’t think you could be in better hands. They are honest, very quick to respond to everything and get answers on your behalf. The photos and presentation of our property are exceptional. We have now just sold our house through them. We had 3 full days of viewings, so much easier than having lots of seperate times. The house has sold easily through them. Ben was absolutely brilliant at his job. We really felt happy leaving the house with him to sell. He knew all the extra little details about it and is such a friendly and confident person we knew he would do a great job. He also gave us detailed accounts of every viewing at the end of each day and followed up any questions quickly. Alec has also been so helpful in finding our next home, nothing seemed too much trouble. I think the whole Elephant team have been great and I wouldn’t hesitate in highly recommending them to anyone

We had a few viewings with Elephant and found a property we loved through them. They were always so responsive and attentive.
