Used EL for letting a property & it was a great experience. I was in a position where I had to sell my late parents home. I had many valuations done on the property from various estate agents. I found most of them pushy and not interested until James Burgess came along. James understood this was more than a house to sell to me it’s was my childhood home and I had just lost both my parents so close together.
When the time eventually came to sell, James took over. This took away the stress for me. He kept me updated and it wasn’t long before a buyer was found.
He then passed me on to deal with Lorraine Gazely who too was great and so helpful ? from start to finish but he’s still took my calls if I would need to ask anything.
I would highly recommend Elliot Lee Estate Agents in Rayners Lane. I am sure all the staff there are as professional kind and understanding as James and Lorraine, but I count myself fortunate to have had these two helping and guiding me through this.

In a few words, they´re amazing if you´re a Landlord and terrible if you´re a Tenant: it took them 6 months to get a serious health and safety issue repaired (rotten and broken wooden beam) in the rear terraze, and they took 7/8 of my deposit, because some of the bathroom and kitchen tiles were cracked (we just walked on top of them 8 years, being the bathroom ones installed on top of wooden floor). They also charged me 99 GBP for broken hinges!!! in the bathroom and 150 for the mattress (that was dirty from the beginning, so we kept it wrapped in the shed and boght a new one). I left there a lawn mower, artificial grass in the garden and laminated floor in the shed FOR FREE. I paid them 150K in 8 years and still they wanted to get most of my deposit (1.340 GBP). As I said, if you're a Landlord, go for it! If you're a Tenant, stay away!!

Check in inventory was even given a couple of days after moving in, and issues were very evident in the inventory. In my opinion, the property was not even supposed to be marketed and rented

knowing that there are issues in it. This is just a form of misinformation to mislead the consumers. Now I am reaching out to them to help me unwind the contract and assist me but as if no one really cares, when in fact they are the one who represented the Landlord in the tenancy agreement. I have a pregnant wife and a 19-month old baby and I wanted a place where we can all settle comfortably, but thanks to them we are in this very stressful situation.

If I could give zero starts I would. This agent lacks customer service. They are so slow to respond to all enquiries and are totally disorganised in terms of who is doing what at their agency. If I could give zero starts I would. This agent lacks customer service. They are so slow to respond to all enquiries and are totally disorganised in terms of who is doing what at their agency. An outsourced company is used for all matters once your property is let and they are equally as useless. For one matter I had to chase them for nearly 2 years before I got a response! Currently been chasing them up on another matter for 6 months, with nor resolution t date. Totally unhelpful agents.

As a first time landlord, I was a bit apprehensive on how to let my property onto the market. Preyen from Rayners Lane branch has been very helpful and informative through the whole process and understood my needs fully.
