Overall great experience. Sean at Penny & Sinclair was the seller's agent, but we had a great experience with him. This was our first home purchase in the UK, and we are not British, so Sean was very helpful in explaining the process and next steps.
He additionally was helpful in recommending a broker and several solicitors so that we could comparison shop to find someone that would work best with us given our nontypical circumstance.
Sean would regularly check in on us to see where we were in progressing, just to ensure that we were moving in the right direction.
We also met with Lucy and another showing agent who helped us with our initial viewing of the property, as well as a secondary viewing.
Highly recommend.

Overall good service from Sean and the team at Penny Sinclair despite what was in the end quite a prolonged process due to two abortive properties at the point of exchange.
We initially insisted on keeping our flat's asking price higher than suggested and Sean duly respected this, and worked to find us a buyer at near asking price, which he did. Despite the long process, Sean managed to keep our buyer engaged until we found a third property on which we have finally exchanged.
Also, the comission rates are very competitive, and Sean personally instills more confidence and gravitas than your average estate agent.
Whilst there was overall good service, compared to other agencies we have worked with, there was possibly a slightly less personal service from P+S. With that we mean that calls to the office rarely resulted in a conversation being had there and then, but rather often resulted in an exchange over email instead, or a call at a later stage (as opposed to other agencies where either a mobile number was provided, or calls were diverted to mobile phones more often).
We would overall recommend Sean and P+S to our friends and family.

We first came across Sean Herdman-Low when we were trying to buy a Pye Home. To speed up a sale, Pye invited 3 estate agents to value our flat. Two of them grossly undervalued our flat for a quick sale but Sean was more measured and considerate.
It all fell through and we decided to sell our flat independently through an estate agent. Sean immediately came to mind. Previous estate agents were shark-like and greedy – Sean was not one of these.
He understood the uniqueness of our flat and found us buyers. While dealing with our buyers, he kept us up to date and well-informed all the way.
Leading up to exchange of contracts, he was exceptional in keeping us in the loop and keeping all the parties involved, together.
All the way through, we have sung his praises to our friends and families because of his dedication, involvement and most of all warmth. We have never come across such a genuinely nice estate agent before and will definitely recommend him to other people.

From the outset Sean Herdman-Low has been easy to communicate with. He listens, which so many agents don't! And because he listens his advice is always relevant and valuable, which means, of course, that I listen! This has been the foundation for an incredibly stress-free sale. In addition he has kept control of the transaction from start to finish in a manner that has been unfailingly alert but never heavy-handed. This again, I believe, is due to his natural ability to communicate. He takes pride in his work and is intelligent and organised.
