Mans a crook plain and simple. Wouldn't risk renting from them, poor service and horrible character. The flat was moldy the entirety of my time there and he insisted that is was our fault for not venting the property. 2 of the biggest windows in the living room, where the majority of the mold was, couldn't even open.

Disappointing agency, weird staff, no manners with other human beings. Highly NOT recommended. :) because I'm not working! They ask 6 months upfront and a.month deposit. Must be a joke.

I have been renting in London for a number of years and have found Sharpes Estates to be the best estate agents I've used yet. My sister and I were found a lovely little flat in Wimbledon in a very short amount of time, moving in was made extremely easy and we were always able to get hold of someone in the office when needed. We have had very few problems with the flat but when we have, someone from Sharpes is always available to either speak with on the phone; or on a couple of occasions, come round to the flat. Would especially like to mention Georgie, very professional and personable and always willing to go that extra mile. Thank you Sharpes, highly recommendable.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Run the agency in a professional way - rather than trying to screw cash at every opportunity. Also - learning to tell the truth would be a good start.

Just an appalling service from day one.... messed up dates, messed up credit checks but still had the audacity to charge us £300 for them.
They couldn't even get the deposit right...I assumed I was dealing with Saturday boy or a trainee - but no, it was Andrew Sharpe the owner. Just pathetic.
It got better when we moved in and all of the promises that the agent had made concerning decorating soon crumbled when we still had workman in the property.

Pretty poor all-round to be honest.
Never gave us enough information when we moved in, never around to answer questions we had.
Completely messed up with our moving out date, resulting in us having to move out a week early because of their mistake. Then the new tenants moved in the day before we agreed to move out.
Haven't paid us back our deposit despite promising to do so.
Would not recommend.
