Oh, where to begin?! In the year and a half my fiance and I have lived here we have had a lost of problems as long as my arm with this company. Most recently, I had a strange man attempt to gain access to the property with a key given to him by the property store who allegedly advised him that "there would be no one home". I refused him entry as I was home alone, he didn't tell me his name and I am pregnant and didn't feel confortable letting a perfect stranger into the flat. Then, when I called the letting agent, the woman I spoke to couldn't really have cared less. At the time of writing this review, I am awaiting a response from someone in management at the property store regarding this matter. Another problem I have had recently is that some unidentified person text me appatently from the property store saying that they would come out to the flat to look at a damp problem that has developed in one of the bedrooms. They suggested a date that was unsuitable to which I gave a counter suggestion...I am still waiting on a response 3 days later. I believe the damp problem is a result of insufficient heating in the property, which we have complained about in numerous occasions, however, when we advised the property store of this, a girl working in the office said "the room probably just needs ventilated" and I'm sure on some level this is correct, however, as it is the middle of January and we have currently got heating issues in the property this is not an option as opening windows to ventilate would render the flat uninhabitable due the below freezing temperatures we are currently experiencing. In addition to this heating problem, we have also complained to the property store about a hole In the front door adjacent to the letter box that lets in a cold draft. This problem was reported over a year ago now and has since been reported to them on numerous occasions with no remedy to date. Another problem we have reported to the property store last summer was the ceiling light in the bedroom (where the damp problem is) doesnt work. This problem has been ignored several times and we still do not have it fixed. Lastly, we advised the flat inspector on their last visit that the cooker needed replacing, after a month of asking what the status of this was, we kept being told that they were awaiting a response from the landlord. Now, I don't know how true this is because it doesn't take 4 weeks to make a phone call. Eventually the property store arranged to have a new cooker delivered and I advised them of an appropriate time to deliver it. This was ignored by the letting agent and the new cooker was delivered at 8am when I had just come home from a 12 hour night shift. I made myself heard to the person who had arranged the delivery but received no response or apology for any mix up. I am beyond sick to death of the property store and their incompetence. The office is run by school children who know nothing of continuity of care to their tenants or how to take responsibility for mistakes made. I have always paid my rent on time and never caused any problems to them, therefore expect to be treated well. I would hate to think that tenants who give them a hard time and don't pay rent on time are getting dealt with before tenants like myself? I will be following the procedures necessary to complain about this company to the appropriate authorities and hopefully they will get their act together.

Couldn't believe it when I found the review on here - could have been written by myself as it is almost identical to my experience. We had issues with birds getting into the outlet for the boiler, as the cover has broken off, causing the boiler to randomly cut out. We complained for months and nothing was done so we called environmental health and it has been partially sorted within a day. This is not unusual one of their repairs took three years to get done of course they deny all knowledge of it prior to fixing it (get everything in writing with these guys they will tell outright lies!). We also had issues with the double glazing leaking and collecting water between the panes of glass effectively damaging every curtain we have but apparently this is our fault for not opening the windows enough! I would be reporting them to the private Rented Housing Panel I have just found out about but we are moving and at this point are just glad to be rid! Don't be fooled by their nice man or when you first meet them they quickly turn and their lack of basic knowledge about the fabric of a building is laughable!

Abismol - don't touch them with a barge pole! Moved in and found a list of issues as long as my arm which ranged from the boiler not working to handles off doors missing etc. after a year bumped the rent up to way more than the market value (but then you are stuck because properties of this size are hard to come by) they insist on visiting every three months (fair enough) but continually try to arrange this for in appropriate times (testin smoke Alan at 10pm with young children and a baby in bed!) then get rude when you say this is unsuitable. Repairs take a lifetime are very poorly done (holes in walls when fixing a ceiling)! We have has issues with the double glazing that there is water gathering between the panes of glass and awful mould around the windows and window areas which they told us was our fault for not opening the window enough (every day?!) having too much stuff (are we not allowed to have beds, wardrobes or bookcases?!) or the tumble dryer (very well vented and only used once a week at most). Staff in the office are pleasant enough but visiting staff are rude and obnoxious! They also once tried to issue a notice to quit via text when we complained about a repair which we had been waiting over a year for! It was t until I called the. On this knowing my rights that they backtracked.
