We recently purchased a property in battersea to let out. In addition, Matthew arranged referencing of our new tenants and all the necessary paperwork for the tenancy. I have no hesitation in recommending Andrews as this has been my best experience working with an estate agent durin the 7 years I have been letting property in the area..

Having lived here over a year and bought a flat myself, I have dealt with him to let the flat out to new tenants and he has been entirely professional, friendly, informative and has rented the flat within less than two weeks which has helped us to reduce our notice period for which I am most grateful. His regular communication was great and the viewings were never intrusive and happened almost without us noticing. I would highly recommend him.

The fees are not bad given the going rates for the area, though I do believe they could be more flexible in their negotiation with landlords on a case-by-case basis, to better reflect the actual amount of work related to the payment - however that was not under the control of the individual in question being reviewed here, so is not relevant to his performance.

In a profession notorious for highly variable standards of honesty, it was a pleasure to deal with someone honourable & know where you stood, where you could be sure that what you were told was genuine and you were not just being told what you wanted to hear in order to keep the customer.
In addition he was forthcoming with helpful advice and useful general information on request, so as to give a landlord an informed choice, without in any way being judgmental all-in-all, in a difficult position to do so, he struck a good balance between being both professionally helpful as well as humanly so.

Myself and my flatmate rented through Andrews Letting Agency in Lavender Hill for a year. Laura was friendly and helpful in finding a place and helping us secure the one we wanted. She also negotiated well on our behalf for break clauses and removal of furniture.
I have rented in London for 6 years moving each year usually because of poor agents or landlords. I have come to expect a poor care of duty from all Agents but Andrews are different.
Majid especially was always happy to help and quick to act if we needed anything. He seemed to genuinely care and was proactive and supportive with helping us with the check out and deposit refund process. We loved the flat and the management service by Andrews and only moved because the landlord needed the flat back. I only wish Andrews would have had an appropriate property for me to move into so I could have stayed with them...my new agent is awful!!!
If you need a good agent in SW11 I would highly recommend Andrews Lavender Hill office..and if your property is managed you'll be well looked after.
Do NOT use Dexters or Edmund Cude. You have been warned.

Up until the sale of our property, everything was efficient, contact was frequent and worthwhile, however, once the sale went through, there was a change of branch manager and we felt a little hung out to dry. We were informed about this change by letter, which was a big disappointment having been dealing in person, by phone, email and even hand delivered notes and documents prior to that.
We can't really complain about the actual service provided, the house sold and everyone did their jobs, but the personal experience we had enjoyed had gone completely.
In the Battersea area, we would certainly still recommend Andrews, as we feel they offer a better service, not the usual pushy estate agents types at all, and again the companies' charity work really speaks volumes of company ethics.
