There were many issues and I won’t go into detail here but they were informed I was very unhappy about their service many times. They just ignored my feedback and did nothing to improve their service. My tenants reported things never actioned. They didn’t really manage my property at all. A senior person was rude more than once and she threatened legal action over money that was not owed by me after she charged me 360 to exit their services. That is unfair as they provided a rubbish service.

They took five weeks to put the property on the market and I got an attitude and rudeness from the senior person when I queried why it was taking so long. I complained and the owner only responded after TPO intervened. He returned some money in settlement. Total rubbish estate agent. I do not recommend them at all and I have emails to prove all statements in this review and the email in which I was falsely accused of threatening my agents and threats to take me to court. Like I said, if they did not settle in some way, I was taking this awful company to court.

Made an appointment a few weeks ago for a home valuation which should have taken place at 11.00 am today, 11.12.2020.
Received a text this morning at 10.00 am stating that the agent would be with me within an hour.
At 11.31 am no one had arrived, I rang Belvoir who initially said they knew nothing, I said I would find the info on my mobile and asked for a call back. No call back so rang again, when I eventually got through I was told that their automated system had booked other people in for today in error but I could rebook for next Monday.
Told them to forget it, dusgusted by their flippant couldn't care less attitude.
When I asked why I had received a message at 10.00 confirming the appointment for 11.00 I was informed that the so called automated system had double booked yet my appointment was made weeks ago. Not good.

Having rented properties for 10 years, I must say Belvoir was the worst by far.
The charges were unreal and a rip off, the staff were rude and unhelpful and trying to get maintenance issues sorted was like pulling teeth.

Once finished they even offered to clean up after themselves which I declined as I had no problems doing this..
The stairs are now very quiet too climb where as before they creaked and sounded like they were going to cave in..
Thank you to the landlord Mr Thobani for allowing this work to go ahead as we love living here and will continue for many years to come.
Very happy tennants..

We have nothing but praise for the staff at Belvoir Leicester. They provide us with full management services and it's worth every penny. They have found us some lovely tenants within days or weeks of the property coming to market and, on one occasion, there was no gap between one tenant moving out and the new one moving in. My friend and I were very excited to be moving into our first rental property having found a place with Belvoir Lettings which seemed to suit us perfectly. They were quite pushy once we agreed to sign up for the property and particularly on the day of sign up/key collection, we felt very rushed and pressured when going through the tenancy in their office but were excited to move in, so let it go.
The tenancy ran smoothly, we had no issues to report and received no contact from Belvoir Lettings other than to book a midterm inspection which went ahead as arranged with no problems highlighted. It wasn't until we informed Belvoir that we were terminating the tenancy that they suddenly became the AGENTS FROM HELL!
We found Belvoir Lettings to be unorganised and unprofessional, once they have taken your money you are of no interest or consequence to them. We treated this property with nothing but respect and were made to feel like we had trashed it. They did not listen to specific requirements we made as tenants, for example viewing arrangements and privacy. If you do rent through this agent please make sure that you check your inventory as they use pictures of appliances that are brand new and then claim money from you when you leave! Unfortunately we did not take pictures of the property and appliances when moving in to prove otherwise and have ended up out of pocket, having to fight for every penny of our deposit back. Make sure that you check the inventory carefully against the property, mark down every difference and above all, don't be rushed!
I would not recommend Belvoir Lettings to anyone looking to rent a property, not just because of the issues we encountered, but because of their lack of professionalism and general âdon't careâ attitude.
