My valuation came in with ZERO, my last valuation in 2017 by a qualified surveyor RICS was £275,000. Connells statement there was a restaurant opposite the property, must have been valued by an experienced ESTATE AGENT.

Initially, I took out a mortgage using one of their advisors at their subsidiary William H Brown/Sequence. I was misled by the advisor into what I was purchasing and once she was paid, had no interest in me (more interested in you taking their insurances out - also watch put for the whole 'free' lifetime membership, you have to pay a £99 admin charge). I stulidly gave them a second chance when I remortgaged which resulted in me paying a higher tariff with my lender because Connolls Group missed the deadline set. Apparently this wasn't their fault despite being employed by me to manage the process (the amount of time I spent chasing progress, I should have just sorted the mortgage myself). I spent numerous times calling to chase progress but surprisingly none of this was logged when I put a complaint in(which was brushed aside). I've never come across a company that has such little interest in its customers. If you're considering using this pathetic excuse of a company I would highly advise you to reconsider - I have cut up my lifetime membership and will never be using these con artists again.

Connells have been managing my rental property for the last three years. My level of satisfaction with the service provided had declined recently as a result of lack of communication from the Stevenage branch and being charged for services that I had not requested. We had a memory of the living room fire at our rented home having been fixed for a previous gas certificate but initially it was suggested that the parts for the fire were now unavailable, and that we would need to install a brand new fore or have it capped. However, after we mentioned that we thought it had been fixed last year, Yasmine discovered that in fact the contractor did have the correct part but for various reasons it had never been fitted. Great work as now the engineer can fix the otherwise perfectly good fore.
