This is the second time Alex and Chris have sold a house for me. They got me full asking price within 6 weeks in a challenging, jittery market.
Chris was the only estate agent in Berkhamsted who considered Bank of England announcements in timing the launch to market and that made a huge difference. Alex, as someone raised and living in Berkhamsted, understood buyers and the market like no one else. They're the only estate agents I'd recommend

I unreservedly recommend Fine and Country, Berkhamsted and their highly professional team. My main contact was Alex Trewin and her support and tenacity was excellent. Alex, Chris, Catherine and the team at Fine & Country helped us navigate the tricky waters of acquiring a high-quality family home (with scope for expansion) in Berkhamsted.
Relocating from a couple of hours away - with a young family - presented a challenge - but I always found the guys honest and helpful to deal with.
We learned very quickly about the pros and cons of each area - which meant agreeing on a fair price for a great house that we may not have considered before.
The team are proactive at getting things over the line - right to the very last moment.
They tend to have the best stock in the area and/or will know full details of any of the higher-level houses.
Buying in Berko is tough work so you need a good team on your side.

I couldn’t have been happier with the service I received from Alex, Chris and all the team at Fine and Country. My house hunt was quite long, around 2 years and during that period Alex really took the time to understand the house we wanted and the reasons for our move. This meant she was well placed to advise me of houses that were worth viewing and also those that were not worth my time. She was patient through viewings that I wasn’t sure were suitable and is a very personable lady, a pleasure to deal with. When the right house came up Alex and the team acted swiftly to negotiate on our behalf and secure the sale. She also found a buyer quickly and we were able to complete the sale of our property in record time with minimal fuss. I found the whole team very responsive and communicative through the whole process and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough

Excellent throughout The whole process.
We had a three house chain and a very challenging buyer at the bottom. Christopher was always approachable and towards the end of the buying process began to guid the other agent through to close.
If you're looking for an agent that actually knows and understands not only the market but the end to end process from their own personal experience then Fine and Country Berkhamsted are by far the best choice. I would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Fine & Country, Berkhamsted.
We’ve recently sold our house through them & Alex, Chris & Viv all provided a very friendly & professional service. The house was sold relatively quickly & for only just under the asking price.
