Had barely any contact w Roger even though he had my property for sale for 3 months! Other agencies organised 5-10 viewings per week while he never even replied to any emails, not even 1 viewing nor email!! Worst experience I have ever had.
There was a fire in the underfloor heating of my building, leaving a very large hole in my flat, as well as persistent exposure to debris and dangerous fumes. REMAX did not make any moves to get this fixed in over 2 months, driving me to look for elsewhere to live. Before we discovered the fire under the floor, (when it was just the unbearable fumes) I was told by the engineer that REMAX sent to go to sleep and see if it persisted in the morning. Thankfully, a neighbour who had also had her underfloor heating catch fire in that same building told me to call the firefighters, and they were able to discover the fire. If I would have left it up to REMAX, I could be dead by now. The apartment was not left in habitable conditions, yet I got 0 compensation for any of my rent, nor living 2 months without my heating as the building management said it posted a threat to life, nor the increased energy bills due to using a space heater to keep warm, nor help to cover any vet bills from the irreparable pulmonary damage this made to my cat, who now has feline asthma. Incredibly thoughtless and unethical agency - would not recommend to anyone.

This company has dishonest sales techniques. If you are advertising a property, they call you or give email details claiming to be a suitable tenant. Sometimes they contact you within minutes of advertising a property to rent and from different 'branches'.

This company has dishonest sales techniques. If you are advertising a property, they call you or give email details claiming to be a suitable tenant. Sometimes they contact you within minutes of advertising a property to rent and from different 'branches'.
They have a standard script saying how much they and their partner earn and that they are interested in the property.
They eventually admit they are lying and they are an agent wanting two weeks rent.

They knew everything!!!! we only got two traps at their expense, then they disappeared. they do not let us leave the house, WE ARE TRAPPED IN THE HOUSE WITH MICE WALKING IN THE BED!!!! But the best is Jill, after I've reported her to the council, she told us that she wasn't managing the house anymore! Ahahahahahah ahahahahahah ahahahahha UNBELIVABLE!!

Please let her know that : - asking for 6 month rent to be transferred into the agency's account BEFORE the offer was accepted is illegal. - an offer must be stated in WRITING, not orally. Otherwise, it has not legal basis. - the money leaving the account legally means that the payment has been done. Therefore there should be a contract or some sort of guarantee in return. It is called consideration, basic of contract law. - Yelling does not make your opinion more valuable. Customer service should be the core of your job. Same, please make an effort to put the basic forms in your emails.
After paying a six month rent to RE/MAX, my flat mate and I were left on the street, without any guarantee or contract, and having to wait for the money to be cleared in RE/MAX account in order to move in the apartment. For *, it was not problem. "Just get another hotel room", I quote. After 4 days, the money was finally cleared, but the tenant refused our offer. Money had to be refunded, relying only on REMAX good faith as we did not have any offer in writing that would explain the procedure in this case. It was then back to the start. During the whole process, dealing with Mrs. Watson has been nothing but stressful, due to her extremely aggressive and unprofessional attitude.
As stated, dealing with another agency in London after this disaster, it was obvious who unprofessional and DANGEROUS this agency is. Please, keep your money and deal with another agency.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
Complaints Procedure
RE/MAX Poperty Group Complaints Procedure:
Should you have a reason to make a complaint, we have implemented the following complaints procedure to help us resolve your grievance and work towards continually improving our professional services.
All complaints will be investigated and dealt with at no cost to the consumer.
The complainant's legal rights aren't affected throughout the process.
Stage 1.
1. Any complaint against RE/MAX Poperty Group (the Company) should be addressed in the first instance to the person with whom you have been dealing in respect of the matter giving rise to your complaint.
2. If you cannot obtain an explanation satisfying your complaint within 24 working hours, please do not hesitate to contact the appointed Manager listed below.
3. If your complaint has not been resolved at stage 1, or in the event of a complaint being made directly to those named below we will progress as follows.
Stage 2.
4. If your complaint was originally made verbally we would be grateful if you could summarise the nature of your grievance in writing to the Manager listed below.
5. Once we have received your written summary we will acknowledge receipt in writing, normally within 3 working days, to inform you of our understanding of the circumstances leading to your complaint. We may ask for more information regarding these circumstances and we will invite you to make any comments that you may have.
6. We shall continue our investigations into the matter and normally within 15 working days of receipt of your written summary the person dealing with your complaint will write informing you of the outcome of the investigation and let you know what actions have been taken or will be taken. In some instances your complaint may take longer than this to investigate, if so we will write to you to inform you of our progress.
7. If you remain dissatisfied with any aspect of the handling of the complaint, we will then attempt to resolve it promptly by negotiation.
8. At any stage or if the complaint has still not been resolved to your satisfaction we will agree its referral to the Ombudsman for Estate Agents.
