We sold our property and bought our new house through Cheffins.
Cheffins staff worked hard to get our property listed very promptly, and were professional and helpful throughout.
Any sales process naturally involves some poker-games but we found Richard honest, fair and good humoured throughout, even under (the inevitable) difficult circumstances.
Would highly recommend Cheffins to anyone looking to buy or sell their property in Cambridge.

Cheffins sold our house in June 2017 and we were very impressed with the service provided. The house was marketed really well leading to dozens of viewings over the first weekend and week, and a number of offers, which were communicated the same day. Richard Freshwater handled all the negotiations for us, obtaining an excellent price. All further communications with us by Richard and Tessa Olley were professional, friendly and always prompt. The after sales support from Claire Godfrey was also superb as she helped speed up the conveyancing process which was a bit complex. I could not recommend them more highly.

Cheffins were employed to sell my house, this they did, however, I did the only viewing and 2 days after the viewing we still had not heard from them. I telephoned and found we had an offer. After this offer was accepted, Cheffins dropped off the planet and we never heard from them again. I emailed but had no responses. Nearing completion again no contact from Cheffins, we tried to get Cheffins to find out about our chain but were lied to and fobbed off. Complained to Richard Freshwater after completion, he said he would look into but guess what two weeks later no response. All Cheffins managed to do was take some photos, put them on the internet then bank over £5,000. DON'T use and DON'T trust. DREADFUL SERVICE AND NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL.
