I urge anybody considering using Northwood to run a mile!!
I rented with Northwood for nearly 6 years. Throughout the tenancy they were completely incompetent. Terrible communication, not fixing and resolving repairs in a reasonable timeframe or not at all, and just unprofessional in all aspects of a letting agent.
I decorated the property we rented myself to a high standard, because they were unwilling (see above). I spent my money and time doing this. When we moved into the property it was absolutely filthy.
The landlord decided to sell the property this year (Probably because we had decorated it and it looked so nice). Luckily enough we were buying our first property anyway.
When we vacated the property, we made sure to leave it in good condition throughout, however, Northwood tried to take 95% of our deposit for unjustifiable reasons. Thankfully our money was protected by the DPS and luckily they went with the FACTS and evidence I provided and not Northwood's erroneous and incompetent effort to steal our money.
So please, trust me when I say, avoid these *, there are far more capable letting agents out there.

Northwood have been brilliant from the first conversation with Graham to arrange a viewing.
The help, advice and assistance I received from Anita and Amanda during the application process was first class.
Since picking the keys up from Davinia, I have always been welcomed with a friendly smile and continued support from all of the team.
Thoroughly professional throughout, all done with a warm and generous family oriented approach. Not forgetting Alan for his valued contribution and information.
To summarise I would highly recommend Northwood to all Buyers, Sellers, Tenants and Landlords.
Many thanks to you all for your professional yet personal touch.

Northwood have given us great support and I was especially impressed prior to contract exchange as Davinia went above and beyond when the solicitors were really slow, chasing and pushing them as much as she could!
Catherine was also great, answering all the questions during the initial stages!
I would definitely recommend these great estate agents :)

What agent could do to change your mind?
The tenant find and set up fees of 75% are higher than I was quoted by other service providers. However, I value a professional and high level of service. I choose Northwood on the strength of Davinia's responses to my queries.

I have been renting my portfolio of properties through Northwood Milton Keynes on their guaranteed rent scheme for over 12 years now and it has made being a property investor a pleasurable experience. Davinia and the team are very helpful and I am very confident that they are looking after my properties with my best interests at the forefront of their minds. The number of issues that I have to get involved with is very limited and this is exactly what I want from an agent. Overall, having rented properties on other schemes, there is no doubt that the guaranteed rent scheme provides the complete peace of mind that busy professionals require and the team in Milton Keynes are always happy to help.
