I've been a landlord for 40 years and I've just finished selling all of my properties through Northwood pending retirement. I've used several agents during this time and they have varied considerably in the level and quality of service provided.
Northwood is the ONLY agent that I have used that I'd recommend if you are going to rent properties out and want to reduce the hassle that this will involve. They take care of the legal obligations that a landlord must comply with and keep up with the ever changing and increasingly complex legislation. They vet tenants carefully, and if a problems arises with one, they deal with it efficiently and quickly.
And when, like me, you want to sell up they make that process as easy as possible. They are very good at marketing your property and negotiating the best price. They ensure that this laborious and tedious process proceeds as smoothly as possible.
I'd highly recommend this agent. They stand out head and shoulders above the rest.

They vet the tenants carefully and deal with problems quickly and efficiently. They keep up with the legislation and ensure that the property complies with the increasingly complex rules and regulations that landlords have to adhere to.
They are the same when selling a property. They marketed my properties quickly, checked potential buyers credibility, arranged viewings and negotiated the best price possible for my properties.
Letting properties is stressful. Selling property is stressful. If you want to make either process easier for yourself I'd highly recommend that you choose this agent.

As a tenant who let through Northwood Estate Agents, I was more than happy with the service I received from beginning to end of my tenancy.
Sion was very friendly and informative when we viewed the property years ago and the whole letting process was quick and simple.
Joanne was also very friendly and extremely helpful during the time we lived in the property. She came out to see us every year to make sure everything was well and ensured that the landlord was contacted at the earliest opportunity if anything needed sorting.
I had dealings with Beth and Alicia during the end of tenancy process and again, I couldn't have wished for a more friendly or helpful bunch. They did everything within their power to make the move as easy and stress free as possible for me.
I would 100% recommend Northwood (Wrexham) and the whole lovely team.

They done a great job selling my property for me, and also helped with a lot of chasing etc, can't fault them. Jo, Beth, Sion are very knowledgeable on the Wrexham area and the market prices etc, so thank you.

I use the platinum service which gives a guaranteed rent and without any input required myself. The funds arrive in my account promptly and reliably unlike my previous agent. I am very happy with the contract as it protects me from the common problems experienced by landlords, The office is local and I am always welcomed with a smile when I visit. The tenants which have been found over the last three years by Northwood have largely been very good tenants, which is always a comfort. At my request, I am now invited to accompany the agent whenever a property inspection is done which is a further reassurance.

My son recently purchased a house sold through Northwood agents in Wrexham. They were extremely helpful from the initial offer stage right through to the actual sale and handover of the property. All the staff, particularly Karen, Steve & Sion Bithel were friendly and approachable whilst providing advice etc. I had the most dealings with them as my son was always in work and as a Property Manager myself I was impressed with all aspects of the service they provided.
