I spoke with three agents in addition to Alexander at BTO before deciding which firm to use to market our property. I met Alexander when he showed me a property I was interested in purchasing and I was impressed by his his willingness to meet at an awkard time on a Friday evening. The service I received from Alexander was prompt and dedicated from start to finish, and highly personalised. BTO had our apartment on the market within 3 days. The photos and brochures looked great. We needed to have our apartment under offer within 4 weeks, and I am pleased to say it took only 10 days. Alexander guided us well through the whole process, the decision to go to a closing date, accept an offer and so on. He was available to do viewings for us should we require it, and accompanied prospective buyers on their second viewing when he felt this would be useful. He was always available to answer any questions, and stayed in touch every day.

My estate agent, Alex Scott, was beyond helpful and conducted himself in a highly professional and yet personable and friendly manner. The service he provided in terms of advice to optimize the sale value of the property, dealing with viewings for potential buyers and resolving issues with the property went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. He remained dedicated to the process and kept me informed throughout. Indeed, several people viewing the property expressed how pleasantly surprised they were with the quality of service they had received when dealing with Alex, a rarely encountered experience when dealing with their own solicitors! From start to finish BTO and particularly Alex Scott and Elaine Del Valle made this process easy which, given my prior experience of prior property sales, was a pleasant and welcome surprise. Alex made renting my property easy and extremely successful. Our move was somewhat unexpected and happened in a complete whirlwind- a cottage we loved came on the market and although we hadn't prepared for a move we decided to jump and were successful with our bid. Buying and selling took us about three weeks and we were so grateful for the help we received from Alex and Michael. We were a bit overwhelmed to say the least but very excited and Annans made sure everything went smoothly - we could contact them at any time. Annan did an excellent job helping us sell our flat. They have great local knowledge and knew exactly what price we should expect. We also found them really nice people to deal with.
Our buyer wanted to get a roof survey done, which could have been stressful, but Annan arranged it all on our behalf, and it was done in a matter of days. They took all the worry out of selling and advised us on the place we wanted to buy as well.
Our sale was quick and everything went smoothly. We were very happy with the valuation and sale price. I'd recommend Annan to anyone selling or buying in the area.

There is no hidden fees with Annan. The fees are a set price and not a percentage which is much fairer on the seller as well as being reasonable!

Having had a terrible experience with another company in the past we were quite anxious. Annan kept us informed at all times, were very reassuring and were very easy to get hold off. The difference about Annan is that they care about people and understand that selling your house is a stressful time.

On both occasions Annan's were quick to respond to any emails or phone calls. They created beautiful sales brochures that showed the properties off to their best advantage. Both flats sold within a couple of weeks. All the staff were really friendly and helpful.
