Having been a landlord and moving into rented when I moved into the area I have only bee n pleased with the service provided. Staff always friendly and helpful. Good communication and isn't issues quickly sorted in the 3 years I was at the property. Special mention to Marie Baldwin who always answered emails and helped me throughout my tenancy. Avoid at all costs. They will help landlords to rent out dangerously unsafe properties and will always keep your deposit regardless of whether you have done anything wrong and will dismiss any written proof. They never fix anything even faulty boilers! They can't even get a tenancy agreement ... Read Full Review

Avoid at all costs. They will help landlords to rent out dangerously unsafe properties and will always keep your deposit regardless of whether you have done anything wrong and will dismiss any written proof. They never fix anything even faulty boilers! They can't even get a tenancy agreement right. Wrong names, wrong contract length... They will never reply to you or answer any of your questions and they go against the law when asked for information you are legally entitled to. They also tried to send a landlords 'in law' into the property during lockdown! I have reported them to the council and trading standards. Laura Stockwell 'lettings negotiater' is probably the most incompetent person I have ever had to deal with! The owners should hang their heads in shame!

One of the lowest fees when I signed my contract in 2016. No unnecessary renewal fees after the initial period of the tenancy.

Charles Harding Team are the only company to use when renting in Swindon. Jenny and the team on Commercial Road are truly fantastic. They were very professional, helpful and friendly at all times and you get the personal touch that some of the larger national letting agencies are missing. My partner and I relocated to Swindon over 2 years ago and found the manner in which Jenny and the team helped us to be exceptional. We spoke to a number of agencies when we started looking and none of them came close to the service offered by Charles Harding. We were unfamiliar with the area and they ensured we had all the information required to make the process as seamless as possible. Marie managed our property for the two years that we lived there and she was an absolute pleasure to deal with. All in all a great team and I would highly recommend them to anyone on the search for a property in the area.
