The management fee always seems high for what work is generally required but I have no idea how much is pre-handled and I am paying for the service being constantly available. In any event, living hundreds of miles away I have very little choice and the fee is tax deductible and offset against the high occupancy.

I've had my property let through C James for 18 years. In all that time it has only been vacant for no more than a few days. Phil Burgess has also been a consistent efficient point of contact and source of advice during all that time. I doubt that any letting agent gets everything right but overall the occupancy speaks for itself and I'm sure I could have done a lot worse elsewhere. Mark and other staff have kept me informed on any issues and discussed options for solutions when necessary.

I have been extremely happy with C James's service over the 13 years we have been working with them. Their administrative support is fantastic and our London House has consistently been rented out with long term tenants and minimal gaps in between. Staff rarely seem to leave the company; great news for me, as I am able to work with people I have known from the beginning.
