we have had a difficult time over the last 6 months with a tenancy that had gone wrong, Lillie has worked extremely hard to try and work with us to get this issue resolved, fingers crossed we don't speak for the next 6 months ( tenants behaving) as we have certainly spoken / emailed more ... The Manning Stainton rentals team in Leeds managed my property from late 2019 through to May 2022.
During what was understandably a tumultuous period, as the world got to grips with fallout from the global pandemic, Manning Stainton dealt with a very difficult tenant in my property, ultimately resulting in an eviction via the courts.
During this eviction process I received excellent support from the team, specifically Nicky Scales and Lillie Connolly. Both were on hand at the property on the eviction day and skilfully negotiated with the tenant (and multiple others residing at the property (!)) post eviction, to convince the tenants to return to the property to remove their belongings at a later date. This was efficient and for this I was very grateful, particularly given the condition the tenants had left the property in.
The tenants also abandoned a large vehicle at the property and declared this SORN. Nicky and Lillie were instrumental in persuading the former tenant to ultimately take responsibility to have the vehicle towed to a scrap yard. Considering the brakes were seized and the steering column destroyed, this was no mean feat!
Nicky was very efficient in managing the court process from the day we served notice right through to being on site on the day the eviction took place. Her support, reassurance and professional manner made what was a particularly distressing experience, as smooth as it possibly could be. This was greatly appreciated.
In terms of bringing the property back into a liveable condition, Lillie was very helpful in sourcing a a very competitive price on a carpet re-fit throughout and also provided a much needed cleaning service. The carpet re-fit was delivered efficiently, professionally and to a high standard.
Both Nicky and Lillie deserve a lot of credit for the support they gave to me and my family during a process that was very difficult at times, for all of us.
I would have no hesitation in recommending either if I was to rent out a property in the future.

As a landlord who lives a considerable distance from the properties Manning Stainton manage, it is critical to have trusted people to deal with day to day things, and have excellent communication to avoid issues which can affect the tenant experience.
I am lucky enough to have Nicky and Lillie looking after my interests, and they go above and beyond compared to experiences with other agents. Even recently where a tenant defaulted on rent and built up 5 months of arrears, Nicky pursued a dialogue with the local council and managed to secure an agreement for rent to be paid - many agents would have said "its not my problem" and Nicky took ownership. I am very grateful to her for this, and for Lillie organizing the refurb of a flat recently which has helped us improve the rental yield.
I would recommend this team all day long.

In the last 12 months Lillie Connolly took over as our property manager and introduced herself providing both email and telephone contact details. During this time we have had regular contact with Lillie including wear and tear ... Read Full Review

During this time we have had regular contact with Lillie including wear and tear repairs to the property reported via the tenants to helping solve parking disputes with neighbours. We have found Lillie to be courteous at all times and prompt in replying to emails or phone messages left for her.

We have found Lillie to be courteous at all times and prompt in replying to emails or phone messages left for her.
Lillie has shown a professional attitude when she has organised the right contractors to attended to the property ensuring an accurate estimate is provided promptly.
We are very pleased with Lillie managing our property
