I have used Holroyd Miller for around a year to manage my rental properties and have found this service to be very well structured and good value for the service they provide.
I have recently added a further property to my portfolio that required some work and they managed all the different trades that were required on my behalf in a professional and organised way taking all the stress away from me!
Special mention & thanks to Catherine, Nichola and Emma who have all helped me with various parts of the process and who are all great to deal with.

Having been with Holroyd Miller many years as a landlord for one of my rental properties I was unfortunately forced into selling my property due to the current economic client. I explained the situation to Catherine Ward who could not have been more helpful and accommodating in the transfer from lettings to the sales team.
This included facilitating my visit to the area to refurbish the property prior to sale and all the complexities that involved, including access to the site, registration of vehicle details with the leaseholder, provision of keys, car passes and access codes to the buildings and site to name but a few.
She also put me in touch with Simon Miller in readiness for the sale which I can only hope goes as smoothly.
Overall the service I received from Catherine was exceptional and I would be delighted to work with her again in the future.

They have offered us good advice and we are so grateful for all that they have done to help us let out our home. Following a bereavement, I had to sell the 3 bed family home and downsize to a one bed flat nearby. The search took time and was unsatisfactory. Then a flat came on the market which looked promising. I arranged to view it on the same day that I was due to view another flat, which turned out to be badly designed and unsuitable. So I turned up for the second flat with not much enthusiasm. The agent who showed me round was polite and helpful, giving me useful practical information as well as some historical background, as the flat is in a conservation area. I applied to become a tenant and met the rest of the Holroyd Miller staff in the Wakefield office. Everyone there was unfailingly helpful and courteous. There were the inevitable teething problems, all of which were handled with efficiency, speed and good humour. I began to trust the staff and to recognise that we are on the same wavelength. They treated me as an individual looking for a home, not 'just another customer'. Their standards are very high and the care they take is exemplary. The tenancy is for an initial 6 month period, but I am hoping that it might turn out to be a permanent home for me here.
