We simply couldn't recommend Adamson Barton Kendal (Middleton branch) highly enough. From the very beginning (JulyAugust 2024) to the very end of the process (Jan 25), we have constantly felt supported, reassured -and just knew we were in very good hands! Sam was spot on with his knowledge of the area and how to sell our lovely house, the photographs were gorgeous and the response was amazing! We had lots of viewings straight away and a few offers. It didn't take long at all before we received the offer that we wanted (and the offer that was right us). From this point forward ( going back and forth with solicitors etc.) The team at Adamson Barton Kendal (Middleton Branch) went above and beyond to try to help along this process and were constantly available to speak to us over the phone – we felt very much valued as customers right up until the very end - And we got there in the end!!

I am so glad we decided to sell our house through Adamsons Barton Kendal, what a fantastic experience we have had with them!!! Right from the initial house valuation through to completion day they have been amazing. Nothing has ever been too much trouble for them and anything we have asked they have been there to support and advise us on. Ross and Olivia at the estate agents have been so welcoming and helpful and what an asset they are to the team there, we couldn’t thank them enough for all their support.
Ian completed a survey on our new house and we couldn’t recommend him highly enough. The survey was booked, completed and a summary was provided within 4 days. Once the survey had been completed we had a few questions but Ian reassured us and helped us to understand the next stages.
We would highly recommend this estate agent to anyone and only wished that we had the same experience with estate agent the house we bought was listed with.

We were disappointed with the service we received from Barton Kendal. Numerous times when we rang, we were told the agent was out and would get back to us. This didn't happen. We always had to ring them. We kept being told "we are very busy", to me this is no excuse.
We were promised that our house which we were trying to sell would be "feature of the week" and a video made to advertise it. This didn't happen.
We were not impressed with the photos of our property. The initial photo session, the flash on the camera didn't work. The second session, the photos were taken using a mobile phone. We were also told someone would come and take outside views when the weather improved - this again, didn't happen. The reason we stayed with the company, was that we were interested in buying a property which they had on their books. I just felt we were on our own in selling the property.
