I really don't know where to start with my frustration at Drivers and Norris and in particular Michael Porter who has actually raised the bar on the level of incompetence that was possible.
Drivers were allegedly 'Managing' our block, but when Michael took over, the service they were providing became practically non existent.
He would never respond to emails or phonecalls, and on the odd occassion when I managed to reach him, it was as if he had total amnesia on the issues that were outstanding and we had previously discussed on numerous occassions.
We really needed Drivers to help us in a critical time where urgent repairs needed to be carried out on the property and were having dangerous affects on the building, but we could still not get a Section 20 sent out (after 18 months of trying) and even basic maintenance prooved too much for them.
Managing agents are really bad, but Drivers have to be in the top 1% for completely negligent behaviour. I even wrote to the CEO to try and sort the situation out, but received no response.
Once they have taken your money, they simply do not care about your property.
I think it's a case that they have taken on too many properties and don't have enough staff, and also the fact that the staff that they have eg Michael Porter are completely and utterly incompetent.
Really, really guys, you are an embarrasment. If I was that incompetent I would be ashamed to leave my own building!!!
Another thing to note... if you employ them as your Managing Agents and try to transfer away to another company, then please factor in a minimum of 6 months for them to be able to forward things such as account information to the new agents!!!

Absolutely Terrible Estate Agents
I'm the last person to become a keyboard warrior and write reviews as I have better things to do with my time. HOWEVER, I greatly feel the need to express how awful Drivers and Norris was with the handling of our property. In our case, we spent over a month trying to chase our deposit return. This might seem like a small matter, but with deposit return / end of tenancy the bare minimum that I'd expect is regular communication about what's happening. Not only did Drivers and Norris regularly ignore emails (asking about cleaners recommended by the landlord or asking about updates once we'd moved out), they would also claim to call back and never do so and resulted in us having to go in person to Holloway on TWO occasions to speak to our agent and request an update (having had all emails and phone calls ignored). In my opinion, this is an unacceptable way to run a business and I will never be using Drivers and Norris again in future and will advise all my friends and family to steer well clear also.
Just to be clear, we moved out 17th August and received our deposit back on 10th October.

We have been using Reliable Homes to rent our properties for over 3 years now. Service has always been extremely professional. They work very hard to rent the properties and have always found excellent tenants for us.
