She's the sort of person you would want as a friend, and that's the best recommendation ever. Sadly 1 star. My experience with them is they are dishonest and will work within legal frameworks whilst lying to you. Bought a non primary residence in the Cotswolds with them recently, was told the oven was an everhot.. it's not, it's a smeg. Was told the property had previously been under offer at the same price.. it hadn't, it was 150k lower, found out through severe googling this week. Was told the house had been surveyed and ready to go (we of course carried out our own) and lots of issues came up they knew about and didn't flag. MOST ashamedly, they accepted out of asking and then AFTER doing all of the background checks and mortgage offer etc etc etc they told us that the house had an outstanding land issue (known about by them months before offer was made) that required hundreds of thousands of pounds to be paid to resolve and had no immediate timeline.

We contacted Jackson-Stops in Burnham Market during Jan-22 to see if they had any interesting properties coming to the market. From the moment we made that contact the service offered has been amazing. Carolyn showed a couple of houses and really helped us to understand what we were looking for.
The house we went on to buy is just perfect for us and we are so grateful to Tim, Carlolyn and Natasha for making it happen. Each time we made a request to visit the property it was always a yes and Tim took all our stress away during the negotiating/buying stage. We dont think we will ever move from our beautiful new house but if we ever do there will only be one agency for us to call.

Jackson-Stops Burford =DREADFUL!...took the money then left me counting the cost! Lettings
They were Jackson-Stops tenants, Jackson -Stops tenancy agreement, Jackson -Stops management, Jackson -Stops inventory, Jackson -Stops cleaners, and Jackson-Stops cleaners report.
Tenants have trashed my house with £1000's damage and Jackson-Stops refuse to fight my corner unless I pay £60 per hr for admin and £450 for court days. To say I'm not impressed is an understatement
It was that bad when they left Jackson -Stops cleaners bill alone was £998 and it was recommended I needed new carpets and superkingsize mattress where the dog had p'd all over it! An example of how some things were left are attached

We were purchasing a property that needed to complete within 6 weeks of us viewing it. Carolyn, Tim and Natasha made the process straight forward and strongly supported us along the way e.g. sourcing local solicitors, facilitating surveyors visits, arranging to view and pick up the keys at non standard times. A very good experience which could have been very stressful but wasn’t. We would use Jackson Stops if we were selling.
