My experience of dealing with Maguire Bayliss has been excellent. Our property was originally marketed with one of the corporates in the area and after nearly six months with little activity I felt a change was needed. Maguire Bayliss have the local knowledge into the Bromley & Shortlands area that you do not get with the large companies. The staff are extremely helpful and most importantly they secured an offer within weeks of the property going on their books. Throughout the period between offer and exchange, they handled all negotiations effectively. They kept us regularly updated and whenever I called or emailed, nothing was too much trouble. I have no hesitation in awarding five stars to Maguire Bayliss and I would not hesitate to recommend them to other potential sellers or those with lettings in the area.

We interviewed many local estate agents when deciding who should sell our home, but I knew within 5mins of meeting Tina that she was perfect partner for us. Maguire Baylis provided a superb service throughout- from answering my many questions before signing with them (first time seller); through to arranging the photography/EPC; conducting viewings and negotiating and completing the sale.
My expectations were exceeded at every point due to the personal level of customer care provided; the attention to detail; the communication; and the willingness to go the extra mile. I was kept informed at every stage and knew who within the office I would be dealing with at each stage.
Perhaps most importantly, MaguireBaylis, achieved the asking price they set for our home (which was more than I thought we could obtain) and delivered a great buyer which has led to a smooth and quick selling experience. The team's knowledge of the local area shone through in this process and their experience of selling homes in Shortlands provided me with such confidence.
My overall impression of Maguire Bayliss is one of excellence- I don't doubt this comes from the dedication and professionalism of the team. I cant thank Tina, Neil and Wendy enough.

From start to finish and beyond it was a delight working with Tina, Neil, Debra, Charlotte and Wendy, especially Wendy, who is like a terrier chasing down loose ends and slow-to-respond parties, and whose good humour kept me going through numerous delays and worrying moments. Although the process took longer than expected, the whole team was there for me whenever needed; helpful and responsive. As others have said, they really made me feel as though I were their only client. Why "beyond"? Even a left-behind key ring was no trouble to them to find and return. I have no hesitation in recommending MB and wish them well for the future.

Brilliant team. By far the best estate agent I have ever used.
Small, friendly, professional and extremely personal approach.

I have now both bought and sold with Maguire Baylis (with an over 10 year gap in between) and both experiences were excellent. Everyone who I have dealt with at Maguire Baylis has been professional, kind, honest and thorough. I can't recommend Wendy, Neil and Tina highly enough. They will give you a well researched, honest valuation of your home, they will work hard to get the right offer and then their management of the sales progression process is outstanding. I first met Tina when she was valuing a friend’s house and I was impressed with her relaxed style , knowledge and confidence . Completely unlike other estate agents I had met and with miles more experience with way less bravado than the 4 other agents my friend had engaged to value her house.
Fast forward about 4 years, and we now had arrange the sale of my house in Beckenham and also choose an Estate Agent. My instinct told me to track down Tina, and ask her to arrange the sale and we are delighted that we did.
Tina and the team are experienced experts at selling houses, and that is all you need to know really, but to substantiate the purpose of this review . The invaluable local knowledge , to almost poker card players intuition with regard to potential buyers, weeding out time wasters and pointing us towards the more genuine vendees, through too chasing up otherwise preoccupied solicitors, Maquire Bayliss guided us to a successful trouble free sale. Thank You Tina, Neil, Wendy, Charlotte.

Maguire Baylis did an excellent job selling our house in Shortlands. Tina was so supportive right from the beginning (when we hadn't fully decided whether or not to move!) - she came round and talked us through everything but there was never any pressure to go ahead or rush our decision. When we did decide to sell, the marketing process was excellent. Viewings were booked in quickly, and a good offer was negotiated. It was very refreshing to have a realistic estimated sale price from the beginning and we were happy with the final sale price. Our house sale and purchase took a long time to go through the solicitor stage due to various delays - the Maguire Baylis team did a good job of chasing up all the agents and solicitors and trying to get things moving along. We would definitely recommend using this agent if you are thinking about selling in Bromley! Or even thinking about selling - we found the initial discussions very helpful.

I would highly recommend Maguire Baylis. A fantastic, trustworthy local estate agent's. The team are friendly and professional and although the process took longer than expected they always kept me fully updated and were incredibly helpful. Tina and Wendy are a real asset to the team, they both made a stressful process ten times less stressful.

I was a long-term tenant in a property managed by Maguire Baylis and got to know the team at Shortlands. They're very friendly, responsive and professional. I recently purchased the flat I had been renting and they were very helpful throughout the sale process too. We chose Maguire Baylis because they offered a personal service rather than email and text updates and our queries were always dealt with efficiently and promptly by whichever member of the team picked up our call.
We were happy with the marketing of our property and from day one had no shortage of viewings after which we always received feedback. Maguire Baylis were very confident when handling the offers received, dealing with negotiations and the sale process keeping us informed at each stage of the process.
Everyone is so friendly, helpful and supportive and we would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending or using them again.

We sold our flat in Shortlands during some challenging housing market times and Tina, Neil and the rest of the team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish.
Naturally we spoke to a few agents as we started our flat selling journey, Tina came to visit us and was by far the friendliest and most helpful out of the 6 or 7 agents we spoke to, most of them couldn't wait to be out the door but Tina stayed for a cup of tea and talked us through everything we needed to know, as well as this she gave us her honest opinion on the state of the market and our flat, rather than trying to dazzle us with unrealistic sale prices as some others did.
Whilst viewings were conducted we were more than happy that our flat was being treated with respect and that the experienced viewings staff were working in our best interest.
Once we were under offer Wendy was absolutely fantastic in helping us move things forwards with solicitors and other interested parties at both ends of the chain, she kept us updated regularly and was key in helping push things forward at a good pace.
There is no doubt in my mind who I would use as my selling agent should I find myself in their operating area again!
