Everything smacked of unprofessionalism and laziness. The agent hadn't bothered to do any research on the flat we looked at. When we wanted to put in an offer on the spot, we were told not to bother as she wasn't going back to the office until Monday. The agent did not bother to relay our offer correctly to the landlord, and thus, we lost the flat, despite willing to outbid the other prospective tenant. Absolute rubbish and extremely frustrating.

Jan 21, 2016We are very sorry to hear that you feel this way and that your offer was unsuccessful. We would like to assure you that all information from both offers were passed onto the Landlord for their consideration and the Landlord decided to accept the opposing offer which was unfortunate for you. Sadly one part was always going to be let down! Both parties were given the same advice to put offers in on Monday as the person showing the flat was out of the office on viewings all day and was not going to be returning to the office at any time. Secondly the Landlord was abroad and not easily contactable due to time differences and as such Monday was the best option and time to make contact. We are sorry if this reasoning was not conveyed suitably. Neither offer was given preferential treatment and both offers were put forward simultaneously and the Landlord made a decision based on the merits of each offer. Once again we are sorry that you were not happy with the outcome and our service but hope that in the meantime you have been successful in finding an alternative property.
