Really are the worst letting agency I have ever had to deal with. Money grabbing * who try to get every penny of your deposit for slight problems that are natural wear and tear or landlord responsibility. Each interaction with them over the year I was renting was a nightmare. Each member of staff was incompetent at managing the smallest problem fully correctly. Will NEVER use this company again, and will be doing my best to stop others.

Mar 31, 2016Romans have been a pain since day one I started renting through them along with my partner. They have been very unhelpful with any queries we've had, especially when the front door of the property wasn't opening and closing properly and had to be fixed. We called them to address the issue and they said they will call back but they never did. Now that we're moving out they started holding viewings but no one bothers to tell us if a viewing gets cancelled! Then they asked us to pay a fee for a reference for our new agents. We paid the fee and now they are saying to the tenant referencing company that the fee is still outstanding! Absolutely disgusting! After all the money we paid them and putting up with their poor service and attitude they are doing everything they can to deliberately make our lives difficult!
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
