Probably one of the most unreasonable estate agents I know. I have had a leak in my room for the past 4 months and it gets really bad when it rains as water uncontrollably comes into the room. As a collective, me and my housemates have reported the problem numerous times, but alas, there has been someone ( a contractor i think) who came to check the problem which he concluded that there needs to be a major reconstruction that needs to be done to stop the leak. However, there has not been any remedy until now and it has been 2 months since that person has visited but no solution yet or any temporary solution on their part to stop the leak, as after that visit i just had to deal with it on my own. Thank god it hasn't been a rainy season this year, if not a lake would have been created in my room by now. In our part, I think we have definitely contacted the estate agent and even pepperfox their sister company appropriate times but there has not been any result from this. In addition, there has been a house viewing today for future tenants in this property, and the estate agent that came in saw the stain on the wall where the leak goes through and said that it was a major problem. Excuse me but it has been there for soo long and now that you're showing other people that might potentially rent the property that it is your guys concern. I wouldn't want future tenants like us to have the same problem, thats why I am writing this, because this is ridiculous that we have to deal with this to begin with and NO SOLUTION HAS BEEN GIVEN AND IT HAS BEEN 4 MONTHS. If the estate agent we dealt with reads this review, can you actually contact us and explain why there has been no solution and this is no way defamatory but an honest review from a very disappointed tenant who just wants the problem fixed that this estate agency seems to have forgotten.

I've rented and owned for 30+ years. In all the renting experiences I have had, I have not had anyone as reliable, practical, attentive to detail and flexible as Paige. I'd love to balance this with something that I was unhappy about - but I can't. I'd recommend her without hesitation - both to potential tenants and employers.

Throughout my tenancy they were always quick to respond and help out when problems arose.
Having just moved out recently, My Lets continued to be helpful and explained the check out and deposit return process to me.

Absolutely awful. Avoid this agency!!!! On moving into our property there were an unacceptable number of things wrong with the property - smashed windows, door knobs missing, it hadn't been cleaned properly, debris in the garden, hob not working. 3 weeks in and we get a leak from the upstairs bathroom into one of the bedrooms. Very lazy in their attention to the property before we moved in and very reliant on us to flag up these issues and spend time sorting them out! Quality of property awful considering price ! And agency fees absolutely extortionate ! Higher than any other agency I've known! From when we first said yes to the property up until now (3 weeks having moved in) the service has been absolutely awful.

Rude, unhelpful and deceptive. Rude, unhelpful and deceptive.
Not only did they fail me as a longstanding tenant, but I discovered after leaving that they had also failed my landlord by trying to withhold from them money they'd kept from me.
Typically difficult when it came to the return of the deposit which I had to claim back through a dispute with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme.
Repeatedly failed to address longstanding maintenance issues at the property which ended up landing the landlord with a sizeable bill on my departure as the property was in a sorry state. They then had the audacity to try and charge me for the clean up after their cut-price contractors had been in to paper over the cracks, weeks after I'd vacated!

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
