I recently sold my flat through Nick Scott at Lauristons in Putney
Fantastic service that went well above and beyond what could be expected. It was only because of Nick's work that the sale went through.
Things got complicated as my buyer needed various permissions to develop the property and change the leases. Some complicated legal work with four different sets of solicitors involved. Nick made sure it all happened, chasing the solicitors to get things done and keep the buyer confident that things were going. He even regularly talked to people in the chain of the property I was buying to keep them up to speed so they didn't pull out or lose me the property I wanted to buy.
A huge amount of effort, complicated legal work and keeping several other people sweet. Well beyond just managing a simple sale, taking lots of time. And through all of this Nick kept me well informed and confident in the sale, really helpful in managing my emotions and worries as I went through the stress of a long and complex sale. He could have sat back and said it was for my solicitor to get it sorted. But he took the responsibility and made the sale happen, without him it would have fallen through.
The basics of the sale - good valuation, excellent advertising material and well managed potential buyer visits - all done well. He found a buyer in a few weeks
Overall fantastic service. Selling a house can be complicated and get stressful. Having an agent like Nick means this is managed with real commitment and skill and friendly support

Prior to contacting Lauristons Putney, was taken to nearly 30 viewings by various estate agents and just couldn't find the right home. Alex only took 10 minutes to understand exactly what I was after, convinced me to do one more viewing and my search was over! As a dog owner I also found it very difficult to close a deal. Most landlords are not keen on pets and had to deal with agents who wouldn't even agree on a viewing. On the contrary Jean-Claude was really helpful when it came to making the offer, explained the breed to the landlord and made it happen! Responsive, helpful and very pleasant to deal with, forever grateful and strongly recommend Lauristons Putney!

Nick is very personable, gentle, positive, realisitic and more importantly an honest professional estate agent
Within hours of going back on the market he had viewings booked and it all started happening for us
Nick and his lovely colleague Maartje coordinated and conducted every viewing with total professionalism and were not at all pushy
The communication was regular and informative as they believe that feedback is important
I was also impressed with the staff at the office when I called as they were always pleasant and willing to help
Within weeks our property was sold and we have already moved to our new home due to the help from Nick as he continuously communicated with all parties in the chain
After reading this review you could easily think that it has been made up but I cannot reiterate how impressed we have been with Nick
Absolutely great estate agent and would recommend him to my granny(if I had one!)

We had been with KFH for a number of years after buying, selling and renting our property through them however over time we noticed that the customer service became non-existent so we decided to move our business to someone who cared.
After reviewing a number of estate agents in Putney we decided to go with Lauristons. We had good recommendations from friends that had used them and they definitely lived up to those recommendations. We personally dealt with Jean-Claude and Tamas who were extremely professional and more important cared about their customers giving us regular updates. (There's nothing worse than not knowing what is going on with the rental or sale of your property). For example: Within 24 hours of Jean-Claude's holiday (which he notified us about) Tamas contacted us to introduce himself personally and to update us on the property.
Within 3 days of marketing our property, Jean-Claude and Tamas were able to secure a deal that we were happy. The process was quick, professional and most importantly painless.
From my experience we have had I would highly recommend their services.

Their deposit is higher than other agents and if the problem is because of them, they complain to you and won't give your deposit back.

We went to see a flat with Lauristons in Putney, we told them we would like to take it by corporate let. The guy Daniel doing the viewing said 'no problem'. So we gave the offer and paid �500 deposit. Later they called me after we paid �500, saying they are not doing corporate let with us. I called their manager Jeanclaude to explain what we do, and asked him a few times, 'Is it all right with you?' He confirmed with me, 'Sure, no problem, landlord is happy with that.' So we paid another �500 deposit. During this time, they were doing the referencing, which was all fine. On the day we supposed to move in, I got a call from JeanClaude, the manager of Lauristons' Putney office, he told me the landlord didn't want to do corporate let, and didn't want to go through. I asked for our deposit back, he told me no way. And he complained me of wasting the landlord's time, that deposit would be given to the landlord for his lost. I got contact with the landlord, he said no, they didn't give him anything. We contacted their letting director, they just denied everything and don't give our deposit back. Until now, 8 months late, we still can't get anything back from our �1000 deposit.

Outstanding. Thankfully we have only moved home a number of times and with every move comes understandable challenges (!). He was utterly professional, proactive and effortlessly streamlined the process from start to finish. By completion, I tallied that we had dealt with 6 solicitors through our selling and buying journey and we still managed to sell and complete within 9 weeks.
