Sellmyhome was excellent in every way and incredible value for money. We initially wanted to try an online agent mostly because of cost, but never regretted the choice. Included in their basic price were photographs, floor plan, and advertising on the three websites we wanted to use, and this was all excellent. We had a large four storey house and the photographs and floor plan took much longer than usual but were first class and at no extra cost. We were sent helpful advice about how to prepare for the photography and were even sent flowers! We wrote our own description, and bookings to view were made on line and confirmed by us. Several of the potential buyers contaced Sellmyhome and told us how helpful they had been. We can only confirm that and it was good to speak to named people about the different problems rather than have to explain over and over again to different people. We had a very long gap of nearly 5 months between the offer we accepted and the exchange of contracts. This was extremely stressful but the people at Sellmyhome did what they could to speed things up and calm us down! We have already recommended this company to others and will continue to do so. We are most grateful to them for being there for us.

I have had many problems dealing with high street agents the past year, service was never up to my expectations.... So I took the plunge and signed up to Sellmyhome, an online agent and paid my fee up front. It was the best decision I made. I sold my house in 2 weeks, received 2 offers, received the full asking price and best if all I saved nearly £10,000 on high street agent fees. I decided to use Sellmyhome for the sale of my London 3 bed flat after being impressed with their service when going through them to arrange a viewing for a house I was interested in buying. The agent I dealt with was helpful and diligent in her follow up and I decided to take the chance and use Sellmyhome for our own house sale, which I thought was worth it given the extortionate amount high street agents would have charged. I was so glad I did as it saved me about 7,500 after the successful sale of our place. What's more, being in direct communication with viewers played a huge part in me getting the price we wanted for our place. I'm sure speaking to viewers about our place gave them greater confidence in the information about our place, bringing a more human element to the process. I had a very hands on service from the start, with Tom talking me through each stage of the set up process. I wrote my property description, using helpful guides from Sellmyhome and examples of other properties for sale in my area and prepared our house for the property photos. The online portal was very easy to use, we were about to set our availability easily and I made arrangements directly with viewers. It was a bit of work, but we'll worth the huge saving I made in agent fees. Our agent, Bianca was fantastic, following up with viewers for their feedback and giving me updates several times a week. Our house sale went through very quickly, in about 2 weeks and I think this was largely down to being in direct contact with viewers. It was also really useful being in direct contact with my eventual buyer, helping the legal process of the sale go relatvily smoothly. I recommended Sellmyhome to a friend of mine and he found a buyer in a few weeks after not being happy with the service he was getting from a high street agent. Basically, with a high street agent, you are paying thousands for them to write your property description and arrange viewings. Completely unjustifiable in my opinion.

I always feel that you can tell the quality of a business by how they deal with mistakes, and while we did have one annoying mistake during the process of selling our home, I was really pleased by the way that the team listened, investigated and worked things out with us.
In the end we achieved over 99% of our asking price using SellMyHome. Our next door neighbours in our terrace had essentially the same house as us but with an extension so theirs should have been even more saleable than ours. They went with a high street agent around the same time as us, failed to find a buyer at all, and eventually had to let their house rather than sell. Considering these results, I don't see why everyone doesn't use them!

The Sellmyhome team have always been delightful to deal with. The staff are efficient and on the ball. We decided to go down the online estate agent route and were delighted we did so. Sell My Home were very helpful throughout and guided us through the process expertly. The viewing process was slightly more complicated than using high street agents but this was only marginal and we actually found it was useful to do the selling on a more personal basis anyway. The savings you make is a complete no brainer in our opinion. We had an offer accepted over the asking price within a week of being on the market!

I did extensive research to try and find the best estate agent to sell our house, initially I thought another well known online agent was the best just because they were on TV... Then I looked deeper into the reviews and found that once your house was under offer, they weren't interested in helping you complete the sale. I found a few similar companies that also had the same feedback. The traditional estate agents charged a small fortune so they were out of the running for us! I then found sellmyhome and the reviews said the whole process was very professional, great service, friendly people, brilliant after sales and sales progression, which it was, every part of it was true. We were sent some beautiful flowers by sellmyhome the day before the photographer arrived which was a lovely touch. The photos of our house were exceptional, the guy really knew his stuff, the angles and lighting perfect for every room, the pictures led you from one room to the next so a buyer could really see how the house flowed. I've kept the photos as an everlasting memory of our house looking its absolute best! The ad went live and within 2hrs we had a request to view, the couple came 2 days later and within a few hours offered full asking price. We opted for the sales completion package, which if you aren't very familiar or confident with the buying and selling house process is well worth the extra money, it wasn't even very expensive. It meant sellmyhome were the go-between for the entire chain, chasing solicitors and agents etc. negotiating offers and keeping everyone in the loop. We had issues with both ends of the chain through the process however Will and Harry @sellmyhome between them helped to ensure everything stayed as on track as they could, some things were totally out of their realms of abilities due to the 'difficult man' we purchased from and the person at the beginning of the chain who dropped out halfway through! The people buying our house used the other well known agent to sell their house that I had considered, these agents were as useful as a chocolate fireguard, they did exactly what I had read in the reviews, which was pretty much nothing once their house was under offer, they failed to communicate with anyone, Harry from sellmyhome ended up doing their job for them! I won't pretend it was a stress-free experience, it was really frustrating at times with the things that happened however these weren't due to sellmyhome, without them we would still be sat in our old house waiting for things to happen, they really did earn their pennies for sales completion! If we ever moved again, or if someone I knew was looking to move, I would have no hesitation in recommending sellmyhome. With the added bonus that the fees are considerably lower than a high street/local estate agent with an exceptional service in with the bargain. Many thanks especially to Harry, he was buying a house himself at the same time, so he could completely relate to our experience, quite how he kept sane with all that going on himself I don't know! Also thanks to Will and the other members of the sellmyhome team, everyone I dealt with was professional, friendly and helpful. Wishing all of you the very best for the future!

Overall we found the process and the team excellent and would not hesitate to recommend them. We bought a house in Highgate, London N6 in February 2017 . SMH was the agent for the seller. The service provided by SMH was efficient, speedy and professional. The service was quite obviously better than any experience that I have had to date with a conventional estate agent, who would have charged a fee of 150 times as much (yes 150 times as much) for the service. It will take a few years for SMH to gain traction, but if I were a conventional estate agent right now, I would be shutting up shop and emigrating!! I was initially concerned about going with an online estate agent however I couldn't be happier that we did. We saved approximately £3,500 and had a far better service than we have experienced with high street chains.
Pros:
- They answered the phone every time we rang, beyond times that normal estate agents would be accessible.
- They gave lots of well justified advice. Will was very helpful! - We got so much interest. We were concerned that high street estate agents know buyers to call and we would miss out, however the process has shown me that being on Rightmove and Zoopla is where most will see the property.
- The iPhone app made the process even quicker and easier to check up on.
- Price was fantastic!

I was initially sceptical about using Sellmyhome to sell my property as I was concerned that they may not be as good as the traditional high street estate agents. However, after reading many positive reviews online about this new approach to buying and selling property, coupled with the significantly lower costs, I decided to give it a go. The cost was the main factor in deciding to use Sellmyhome as I was selling a property valued in excess of £500,000. From initial contact, through getting my property ready to market, they were absolutely fabulous. The information provided helped me to market the property how I wanted, giving me complete control over marketing material and property showings. The way they structure their offering, with various enhancements, also allowed me to pick and choose precisely the level of support I wanted from them. They kept me fully up to date with feedback received from interested parties and I was able to view and accept/reject any offers online. The sales manager (Harry Hooper) called me every time he had information to provide and generally updated me on progress every week. I had a buyer who was involved in a particularly difficult chain and Harry patiently dealt with them (and me), by keeping the parties advised of progress all the way through the legal process to completion. By communicating with the two solicitors and other parties, Harry was able to nudge the sale along whenever he felt that things were progressing slower than they should be. Harry established positive relationships with both solicitors and knew exactly what was happening and communicated progress as necessary. I would have no hesitation in using Sellmyhome again. They were very professional and I highly recommend them. As pleasant an experience as selling a house can be! John

If you're thinking about selling with an online agent but unsure, I'd recommend this company. They practically hold your hand all the way and it's shocking that other estate agents can charge thousands for the same service. I was unsure about DIY home selling as I was a first time seller. After being quoted £2,500 by local estate agents, I decided it was worth a punt at using sellmyhome. I checked a few other online agents but eventually came back to sellmyhome because they were very friendly, helpful, supportive and not at all pushy. That meant a lot to me as a customer. They also had excellent reviews, I won't lie, I'm used to taking the reviewers shortcut. When I finally told Charlie I was ready to sell, it was a sunny Wednesday afternoon in early August. The following day, the photographer was round taking flattering pics and doing the energy rating. On Friday morning, Charlie called to check I was happy with the pictures and by the afternoon, my house was live on rightmove and other portals. By 5pm that day, I had received 2 calls from the sellmyhome team to confirm viewing appointments. I had my first viewings on the Saturday and my first offer on Sunday! The final offer I accepted was exactly 2 weeks from when the house was listed. Charlie and the team were excellent throughout with communication and advice on a number of issues, really couldn't have asked for more. I'm pretty sure they were doing more in the background than I paid them for... Moving house is stressful in many ways but I can honestly say, the team at sellmyhome took a great part of that stress for me and at a price I was very satisfied with and a service that was flawless. Highly recommended
