Purchasing a property through Aberdein Considine. Assured from the start there would be no conflict of interest as they are also the Sellers agent. Various issues throughout the purchase, indicated that they are basically working to extract as much money for as little work. However final straw, one working day before taking possession of the property we find out that the upstairs ceiling collapsed around 3 weeks ago due to a leaking water tank. Aberdein Considine obviously did not think to inform us of this at all and we have basically found out from the Seller directly. They have not been working in our interest in the slightest, but obviously are happy to take a large fee from us. Be very wary of using this company as your solicitors when purchasing or selling.
Bad, high cost for no effort.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
