We'd like to take this opportunity to extend our appreciation to you and to your team for providing an exemplary service. You first visited us at our home in January this year when we decided to put our property, 8 Rodborough Road, B26, on the market. You provided excellent advice and guidance. Having already tried and tested a number of well-known West Midland-based High Street estate agents, who we found frankly patronising and selfish, we asked you to be upfront, honest and realistic with us. You assured us you would and you kept to your promise. As you know it was an uphill challenge to sell our property, specifically because of its construction, but you and your team explored various options and worked with us to make it happen. It took a while, in fact around 7 months, but we got there in the end. And it simply would not have happened without your outstanding leadership, service and support and that of your team too, specifically Anne-Marie, Jo Green and Paula. You proved that you put our interests ahead of your own and demonstrated a genuine commitment to the sale of our property. You always gave us your full attention. The several e-mails we exchanged and phone conversations we had, you were professional, impeccably polite, helpful and to the point. Also, we decided to complete, as you know, on our sale ahead of our purchase, which some may say was an unwise decision. But we did this so that our buyer and her two young daughters could move into our property before the new school term started. This meant we were technically homeless and we went through, we must confess, a testing period. It was not easy, to say the least. You acknowledged our situation, were empathetic and offered to assist. This alone we thought was kind and courteous of you. Finally, just to re-iterate our sincere thanks and gratitude to you Sam, also to Anne-Marie, Paula and Jo for playing such an integral part in the sale of our property. Our buyer, we understand, has moved in, settling in well and is very happy. We moved into our new home last week and are settling in, just in case you were wondering. We wish you and the firm that you represent even greater success and individually, we wish each of you the very best in all that you choose to do in the near and far future and may the Melvyn Danes flag continue to fly even higher wherever you go.

The VAT element wasn’t originally mentioned so the fees were higher than I would have liked. And based on the amount of work I also did, again I would say that the fee was higher than I would have liked.
