Going through the process of renting a property through Barbers was not a pleasant experience. We found the contact, Jenny, to be unhelpful, totally lacking in empathy, with extremely poor customer service. Every time we phoned we were made feel like we were just a nuisance and had to chase to get the agent to ring us back. However, whilst renting, the property management manager was excellent and the end of tenancy process wasn’t too torturous. I would not recommend renting a property through Barbers Market Drayton.

Dec 14, 2020Thank you for your reply. I do not wish to discuss my feedback, but if a person called Jenny Chapman still works for you I suggest she receives some customer relations training in order to deal in a professional way with your clients. Her people skills were appalling.

Agent fees have to be there as of every other fee we pay in life but i do feel charging to pay on debit card is a little unfair. I also feel that 300 pound should be the fixed price instead of then another 60 for a second application.

Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for, I use Barbers for lettings they source my tenants, they do a full credit check and interview the tenants before the sign the contracts. We haven't had a bad tenant.
