We used hatched because as with all sales today they are generated by the web. Hatched listed our home on all the internet sites. We sold without hastle and saved £25k...yes £25k. The whole sale cost us less than £900.
There is now point in using high street agents...after all we found our new property without setting foot in a high street office.

Marketed over 3 properties with them and a total waist of time, first agent came from Middllesborough who had no idea of the area, As an example, the sale manager for our house, was trying to compare my property in Scalby Village with a property in Northway or scalby road to convince me that the price is the issue and not the way they work in our area.
They siting, thinking things get done by clicking a key board?!
Knowing who to sell to and who to target, is a key factor to selling, none of these was part of Hatched policy.
The process and the system is so long, you feel is endless, and could work in London, big city as the demand is greater than the supply.
However in Scarborough you need to do the ground work to establish who to target, not simply by browsing the internet.
You can't deal with matter remotely from Manchester or where ever you are in the land.
Taking the traditional package is a crime with hatched, they always try to sell you a package where you have to pay in advance, thus when they don't sell your property, they don't care, the aim of the game is to sell properties not getting paid for nothing and in advance???
The price and packages suggested by the agent was nok (traditional only can pass). Communication was dreadful and vetting of potential buyers non existent. Total waste of time and money - their are other good local agents and online agents out there, Hatched is definitely not one of them.

Fantastic, couldn't have been better!
Fantastic! Couldn't have been better. We used Hatched to sell our West London flat with the mentality of if I use my computer and phone to order cabs and food, and only search for properties online why not use an online agent. I'm glad I did.

Our local rep Paul came and valued the property similarly to the local agents I had round to value it and was super useful throughout the process. We had loads of viewings in the first two weeks and then in came the offers. They were easy to deal with and we ended up selling for asking price. Hatched them chased everything up to keep the sale on track and get us through to completion. I couldn't compliment the service enough, especially considering we saved £5k in estate agent fees by using Hatched.

Highly recommended in every respect. Easy, simple, stress free, exactly how house selling should be.

Dealing with Hatched has been one of the most stressful experiences I have ever had the misfortune to encounter.
I registered as a prospective Landlord after losing my Mother and making the decision to rent out her property as I felt I wasn't ready to sell. A lovely lady called Maxime came out to do the valuation and take photographs. I was very impressed with how the meeting went and really felt I had done the right thing in employing them to let my Mothers property. But sadly that is where my good relationship with Hatched began and ended. It took a week for the photographs and description to be put on the website, then I had to chase them up as the ad did not apear on Zoopla or Rightmove. I had one viewing via Hatched and she didn't show up. I had linked the advert via my own Facebook account and also paid to advertise on Gumtree. I had very many inquiries via Facebook and over 20 on Gumtree. I found a lovely tenant on Facebook, she had emailed hatched about the property and they didn't bother replying so she private messaged me via Facebook and we arranged a viewing privately. Afterwards when she wanted to make an offer I then passed her on to Hatched. That was over 6 weeks ago and her contract still isn't signed. I did all my own Gas and Electricity checks as they are just so slow winded in getting things done. I've regularily rang them sometimes twice a day to speak to someone and not been rang back and then I get palmed off with some lame excuse as to why I haven't been rung or something has failed to be completed. They even failed to chase up my tennants guarantor reference so it took two weeks for that to come back when they had a direct number to ring. I even did my own inventory for the property as it says on the website I don't have to have them do it and I was trying to save time as my tenant has to be out of her present property in a week and as a result I have been told they will not manage my property for me even though they have taken my tennants deposit and first months rent. They have told me the contract fee will be taken out of the rent which is fine but now telling me I have to pay a tennant finding fee when they didn't find the tennant. With the exception of Maxime Shakespeare and Nadia Mcleary who has been brilliant Hatched is a joke and a totally unprofessional waste of time. They have made what was already a stressful time after losing my Mother into a total nightmare. Do not use them if you we ant to remain sane.
My dealings with them are still not over for now but when I have my tennants deposit back to place in a secure account and the first months rent I hope never to have to deal with them again!!
