The worst letting agency possible. To be avoided. Appalling customer service. We were treated like second class citizens during our long 4-year tenancy. Paid rent on time and kept the house in excellent condition but when it came for the agency to fulfil their part of the bargain there was no concern for us at all. Maintenance calls went unanswered, and it took endless emails, angry phone calls, threats to report to the council and eventually an actual CEILING falling on my husband. This is when we decided enough was and handed in our notice. This is when we knew just how abhorrent their behaviour towards renters really was. They claimed they never received our notice and bound us to pay an extra month of rent! At this point we did not want to fight we just wanted to leave; but they did not stop there. They then informed us that they were withholding our deposit due to the damage left in the house. When we asked for proof of damage, they gave us the usual run around, false promises and fake reassurances. It took me and my husband calling and emailing EVERYDAY and the threat of legal action for a response. Miraculously the damages where not that bad and only required 30% of the deposit. Its been TWO MONTHS and I have JUST received the deposit but still they refuse to produce an itemised list of the damages they claim to have found in the house. Its disheartening to think this is the way the agency is run, I am disgusted by the treatment I received from each and every one who answered my calls and emails, I swear I spoke to every living soul in that agency and every time I was met with another disingenuous person. My advice to the reader, cut your losses do not sign up with them. The whole place is ROTTEN.
