We were previously with another agents and moved to GTH and we are so glad we did. The team in Sherborne were absolutely brilliant with our buy and sale. We had a tricky “buyer” first time round and for each sale process, Miranda went above and beyond and did much more than I believe she should have done in aiding communications and chasing the buyer and the conveyancer for responses which was frustrating for all involved. Miranda, Chloe, Ali and Richard all kept us informed at every step of our purchase and sale. I don’t believe we would have had this level of support and persistence with any other estate agent. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to have supported us through this long process!

We have little to say because the day after the house went "live" on the internet, and before any brochures had been published, we had an enquiry and agreed the sale the following day with the purchaser.
GTH involvement was therefore minimal as we negotiated the sale.
We were however disappointed that the sale process took a long time and we are doubtful about the agent effort to speed matters. We were continually told about "many hurdles to be crossed". However, having dealt with solicitors many times before we are of the opinion that difficulties can be overcome where there is a will to do so.
As far as we are aware GTH played a largely negative part during the legal process and we were never sure if our instructions were being fully followed to expedite the proceedings. This when all parties to the sales had agreed amongst themselves on a mutually acceptable completion date.
We have no doubt that GTH were very satisfied with the quick agreement for the sale and considered the legal process time to be within their normal timeframe.

Just one observation-paperwork sent by post. The other agents I'm dealing with email the memo of sale etc and I'm very happy to operate that way as it's much quicker than relying on the post, particularly at the moment around London, and can be filed electronically. Cheaper for the agent too.

First class service and attention to detail from the Sherborne office, particularly from Miranda Venton. I was buying, not selling, so to be so well looked after, during a difficult buying experience, really helped the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble and all queries were dealt with promptly and professionally. Also, I found all the staff there friendly and helpful. Estate agents sometimes get a bad press (although I have been told GTH have a long standing positive and sound reputation) but this branch particularly merits well deserved praise and huge thanks.
