Bought a property four years ago in Colchester and the process went fine. I usually had a one call per year asking if we were pleased or thinking of reselling it, which was fine for me until spring this year(2022) which I’m now called every 3-4 weeks which is simply harassment to know if I’m thinking of selling, each time my answer is no. My patience has now reached the point of no return, if I receive again one of these calls less from a year from now, I will report it to the police for harassment on private individual.( got track of each dates I’ve received a call from the agency)
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
