Our office, located moments from the station is in Langtry Court, part of the recent regeneration of a long standing garage and MOT station, that has seen the area blossom with buyers coming from all parts of London.
Brockley Area Guide.
The people that live in Brockley love Brockley and welcome visitors with open arms. Perhaps it’s the vibrancy of both the area and its people that can be enjoyed in the wonderful wide open spaces of Hilly Fields & Telegraph Hill Parks which bring happiness to many who visit or is it the opportunity to enjoy some of the most incredible panoramic views of London?
Either way, the local community thrives and weekly events such as the award winning Brockley Farmers Market which has been running for some years now offering a vast choice of goodies certainly help.
There is a tremendous arts scene with many students putting down long term roots after renting in the area. We are rightly proud to have sponsored local events including the South East Makers Club and Brockley Open Studios.
Brockley’s residents are incredibly generous too. We often see our Food Bank basket brimming as good souls bring laden bags into our office with provisions for the Trussell Trust.
The Overground (which opened in 2010) is still changing the area and having positive effects on the housing market. As of early 2019 there are multiple planning applications in and around the Brockley Cross area which will continue to draw buyers and therefore demand for both new build and existing market remains strong.
The appeal is apparent with both Brockley and nearby Telegraph Hill Conservation Areas attracting buyers looking for the large conversion apartments in the wide tree-lined roads within grand period buildings, whilst those looking for family houses are spoilt for choice with a wide array of differing sizes and style to be found close to Brockley Station and nearby Crofton Park Station.
Buildings of note are the Rivoli Dance Hall, a listed building, and rare surviving example of a fifties ballroom. Famous rock stars such as Noel Gallagher & Damon Albarn have played live here in recent years and it has also staged many film sets – most recently in January 2019 with Kiera Knightly, two-time Oscar nominee, starring in Misbehaviour, a comedy drama about the true story of the 1970 Miss World pageant in London. Another interesting building is the Tea Factory – Iconic is a word used too frequently these days but this is a standout building for the area as converted and reconfigured around a dozen years ago and can be seen from far and wide.
And after you have experienced all this you have deserved a cup of tea or even a beer, so all you have to do is to choose from the fabulous choice of independent bars and bistros that seem to be always brimming with life.
Perhaps it’s just the fabulous beer from Brockley’s independent brewery which is why us locals are always smiling, there’s only one way to find out!

I have dealt with 2 previous agencies but felt let down so had something to compare with.
To my great surprise and satisfaction Guy and his team have managed to meet and exceed my expectations in terms of viewing bookings, attendance, reliability, timeliness, advice and achieving over an above the asking price. The whole sale process was smooth and stress less and they are very well versed in their business.
It was a great pleasure to work with them on the sale of my property and I would rely on their professional services in the future, so thank you Guy and your great team!

All my financial and personal information, together with the affordability ratio (£1300x30=£39000) got confirmed by your agent and accordingly, I signed the Terms of Business contract. My personal and financial information went through Rightmove referencing and Rightmove advised me to find a guarantor that earns £39000 a year. This telephone call was recorded by Rightmove. I found a guarantor who makes £39000 a year, but * sent an email saying guarantor has to make £46800 instead; what caused this difference from the initial amount, confirmed both by your Company and Rightmove, I was not provided with any explanation or information prior or after.

Then said my guarantor also has to have an employment contract covering the whole period of rent, which again was not mentioned or stated anywhere prior to her words. When I asked for the legal basis or official statement for this requirement, she did not reply.
When the manager of my guarantor did personally confirm to Rightmove that the guarantor is currently employed and his contract will be renewed, asked for a guarantee that it will be renewed. When I asked in what shape or form such a 'guarantee' can be provided -as if such a thing even exists- she did not reply.
Her lack of integrity and transparency throughout the whole process has cost me, my guarantor and my guarantor's manager valuable time and effort. Furthermore, trusting your Company's reputation and both the initial information and confirmation I was given, I had given notice to my current accommodation and at the moment, I do not have a place to stay.
They even went further and accused me of lying about my income. My annual income was clearly stated on the offer sent to the landlord.

From viewing my new home to the very end and signing my contract the staff were helpful and always contactable. I must give a huge thank you to Charlene O'Brien - She was such a wonderful person to speak to, gave me all the information I needed and guided me though everything with a smile on her face such amazing support from her!!!!
If I had to give any other feedback I would say the only thing I was not very impressed with was the "Conran Concierge" I was put in touch with them to help set up my utility bills with the relevant providers however not sure what happened but I ended up having to re-setup all my accounts as the applications sent via the Conran Concierge did not work but this was not communicated with me. It was not to much of a big deal for me though.

We were given superlative service and invaluable advice on clearing the Property and preparing it for Marketing ( which was excellent ). The on-going and regular feedback received ,not to mention help negotiating with the eventual Purchaser was invaluable .
I should also mention that the sale price achieved was very very significantly higher that had been indicated as probable by the 'On Line ' type Agencies .
As it happens ,I have been a Mortgage Adviser for over 30 years and have dealt with hundreds of Estate Agents over that time .
The people at Conrans are the REAL DEAL, and I can not recommend them highly enough
