Maintenance issues absolutely disgusting If you rent an old house be prepared for a nightmare. We have been facing a lot of issues and it takes usually no less than 1 month to have your problem fixed .

If you're looking for an esatate agent that make you feel completely less than human, then this is the best place for you. From not having the house cleaned before I moved in (during covid), to sending a contractor to fix our boiler that ended up making it worse. Leaving us with no hot running water and no heating in -1 weather for 4 days. I offered options to find a contractor to fix the boiler and they reiembure me, they said no, I asked if they can get me a hotel as the house uninhabitable, they said no. I have Anemia and my body can't deal with cold weathers. Romans do not care if I die over this weekend. So again if you want an estate agent that do not care about your life, please use Romans. I pay rent every month, never been late and they cant be bothered to ensure my health is ok.

My property had been on the market for nearly 1 year (frustrating).
I moved to Romans from another high street Estate Agents (I was not feeling the love) about 3 weeks ago.
Romans was recommended to me by a friend in Hampshire who sold his property in 6 hours of going on the market (true).
I must admit that all sales people tell you their "pitch" which leaves you wondering "ok mate produce the goods and I will believe it".
I have to say that once my property went on the market with Romans and within 3 days I had 2 viewings back to back.
Saad my agent was buzzing giving me really good vibes about the viewings which was promising to hear.
After a couple of days I had a further viewing from one of the original viewers which culminated with an offer which I accepted (high 5's, chest bumps and back slaps), sold within a week fantastic.
I should have went with Romans at the start they certainly lived up to their reputation, professional, positive and motivated.

Rented a property in Maidenhead for 6 months, 3 of which we only came to sleep as we had bought a house ourselves and where doing some decorating. Had many issues with the properties but Romans was never available for us. Only gave us part of the keys and wanted us pay for them to come and try the keys on the doors (are we that stupid). The lady in charge of our rent was useless and only worked 2 days per week. At the end of tenancy they asked us huge amount of money for things we haven't damaged. They are TH**F. We had pictures of some the items ourselves and were able to reduce the bill but we still had to pay 70£ for things we haven't broken and just because we didn't have the picture to prove it. Knowing that we lived there 3months can you imagine if it had been 1y. Never want to hear about them ever again

I had absolutely terrible service provided by Romans. the agent doesn't conduct its business as per the defined standards, they are not keeping the customer (tenants) best interest in mind. I made a great mistake, after renting a property with Romans, I felt that I was being cheated. They gave me wrong information several times in particular by giving me false information about the property they offered me to rent, they passed me wrong documents and I believe charged me more. I have been renting for a few years now and Romans is by far the worst agent, I have dealt with.

TERRIBLE from start to finish. The staff are rude and always unhelpful and as soon as I informed them we were moving out of the property the service turned even worse. I was passed between a range of consultants during my tenancy and never had a clue who my property manager was supposed to be. Its difficult as Romans seem to dominate the property market at the moment and its a shame. It took weeks to get anything fixed in the house, I was left with a broken shower twice for over a month, and that's only the start of it. I would seriously stress not to choose this agent, I really wish I'd seen the mountain of bad reviews before I singed anything. *
