I can't fault Richard Kerpner and his team Tracey Aitken and Gill Vaughan at Fine & Country Chepstow. Their knowledge of Tintern and the Wye Valley is exceptional. The selling of our family home was a long-winded saga due to changeable financial circumstances with our first purchasers. Throughout the process all three were with us every step of the way and always remained positive and upbeat even in really tricky times. We found selling our home with F and C an excellent professional experience.
The photographs taken and the brochure produced was of a very high standard and when we saw our property in a life style magazine in Abergavenny we were obviously very pleased.
We only had two viewings and the second one bought as cash buyers. Making life very easy as we had no ongoing chain.
The staff in the office were very friendly and efficient and both Richard and Gill carried that professionalism through after the sale keeping us informed throughout.
We think the old adage you get what you pay for certainly is true of the way F and C conduct their business even through they were considerably more expensive than other local agents.

Excellent Estate Agents that are very professional from their viewing experts through to sales progression. It really helped that they were really friendly and helpful but also were able to draw on their immense knowledge of the area. Nothing was too much trouble and they certainly helped make a very stressful process much more tolerable. Even though I was purchasing during an incredibly busy period, the staff that helped me (Richard, Tracy, Emma, Jen, Gill) all gave me their full & best attention and nothing was too much trouble. The staff have a lovely manner that puts you at your ease and their communication skills both internally and with myself were excellent. Thank you again!

Absolutely brilliant.
Our move has been the move from hell with sales and purchases falling through but F&C have been completely supportive throughout a long 12 months. The fees were 2 %. I believe that this is high for the UK but, in our view, it was outstanding value for money. We obtained as much as we had hoped for in terms of the sale price and everything was handled superbly.

I think the valuation, in retrospect could have been higher, given the increasing interest from the Bristol area.(We achieved the asking price) I was surprised that the negotiations seem to have been handled by Gill....we did not see Mr. Parry again after the initial visit. Whilst the older gentlemen that managed the viewings were polite, we felt that one in particular lacked a degree of rapport with viewers, speaking to his own agenda, rather than getting in rapport with them and assessing what their needs were.
