I do not normally write review unless something is seriously wrong. Dear Haart, you are so aggressive, hateful and angry. I do not know why you treat customer this way. Ali, you need to go for an anger management course. The first time I saw you, you tried to push me into sign your contract. You were so angry and told me all you want was business. I understand, but How you treated new customer was appalling. Your price 1,200+ VAT finding a tenant only was not cheap, with such angry and aggressive approach. My experience with Haart was BULLIES.

Called this morning to report the front door could not be locked following an intruder last night. Called at 9am and 11 hours later still waiting for confirmation it will be repaired tonight. When I first instructed Haart to rent my property everything was great Leslie was very helpful and after we had done the improvements required Leslie instantly had a tenant for us. Then things went down hill. I instructed haart to tell my tenant that I would not be renewing her tenancy as my son needed to move in. Haart did not inform the tenant which I found out after phoning for a progress report so termination was delayed then I was told I would have to evict the tenant. In the end the tenant eventually left without eviction During this time I let haart send in their electrician to do some work there when we finally gained access we found the workmanship was shoddy sockets in bedroom that I hadn't agreed to and holes in walls the whole house was dirty and one carpet damaged. Oven disgusting. But because we inspected the house and not haart as they wanted another £120 to do so I was told I was unlikely to get any deposit back. Still no joy on the electrical work. So if you are a tenant Haart are great but not as a landlord on a full maintenance contract.

I rented a property through Haart and when it came to getting the deposit back they didn't want to know. These excuses ultimately came as a result of no inventory being done when I moved into the property and according to the previous tenants who I managed to speak to, no report checkout report being done with them either when they left the property. After two months of constant chasing and no sign of the deposit, I raised a dispute with a 3rd party named the TDS who returned my full deposit to me within 2 weeks.
I later found out that without a checkout report, Haart had no legal right to retain any of my money which is why the full deposit was returned to me without any further questions after the TDS established that the checkout report did not exist.
I would never use Haart again and I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone.

The manager of Northampton branch is a liar & even put the phone down on me when I asked him to explain why he'd lied. Now to try & retrieve the keys?! My mother & father in law have a spare for emergencies & went to the house only to find the house had been left unlocked by the inspector & had been like that all weekend!!

Our new agent contacted Haart in Northampton on a daily basis leaving messages for a call back from Ian, they never once got a call back! He is totally incompetent & I would not recommend that office or Haart for that matter. All I can say is I'm glad we have found a new agent.
This isn't the only problem we have had with Haart & have already been through their complaints procedure.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Make it clear that Mark wouldn\'t be dealing with the sale of our house Contact us on a regular basis with updates and build relationship/trust with us Communicate over the phone in a more proffessional and friendly manner Give us feedbacks following viewings without us having to chase them Show us that the agency was proactive in trying to sell our house

Unfortunately we couldn't find any customer reviews on this agency before appointing HAART to deal with the sale of our house. Our experience with this agency was very poor and we wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
We chose HAART because we liked Mark's professional approach, his selling skills and experience. He came across very well when he came to our house and was adamant he'd sell it no problem. We now understand that his sole intentions were to get our house on his books, market it and move on to find more new clients. The young lads at the office, George and Adam, with no experience and an obvious lack of confidence, took over shortly after. There's no way we would have entrusted HAART with the sale of our house had we known that these 2 lads would be dealing with it.
Don't fall in the trap of buying their whopping £210 PRIME BROCHURE rip off! Selling our house was extremely important to us as we've now relocated to a different county. Mark sold this brochure to us as THE marketing tool to have if we really wanted to sell our house. We refused at first but eventually gave up to the psychological game as we were told several times that “70% of the houses sold have the Prime Brochure!â€Â. We stupidly fell for it, this glossy brochure is pointless, took 10 days to get right, contained some information which actually turned against our property, any good agency would include a floor plan in their brochure at no extra cost and as for the EPC, they can be found quite cheap on the internet.
We're so glad we negotiated the lengthy 20 week term of their SOLE selling rights agreement down to a more reasonable 10 weeks. We never got regular updates from the lads, even if there was nothing to report, regular contact from the agency would have been really appreciated instead of being left in the dark (especially as we're not on site). We've found it difficult to obtain feedback following viewings, on few occasions having to chase them days after a viewing to see how it went or they say they'll phone you on such day but just don't and you end up chasing them. Their communication and customer service level were quite poor throughout, especially George who can be quite arrogant and patronising at times. On several occasions, we put the phone down completely disheartened! It didn't get easier when it came to remove the house from the market, what a palaver!
All in all, a very disappointing experience from a poor quality agency with the wrong attitude towards clients. If you're after an estate agent who will have your best interests at heart, don't choose this one!
