We lived in a student property for 9 months and had something wrong with the property nearly every month. Every time we called dafydd hardy to explain the situation, the people on the phone sounded that they were annoyed at us and that we were a nuisance for calling all of the time even though the property had multiple problems in just the short period we lived there. Dafydd hardy were good at sorting the things out in a timely manner which we were grateful for, however didn't appreciate certain people's attitudes when spoken to over the phone. Our main complaint is the way we were spoken to and how we've been treated after moving out. On moving out day, we cleaned the house from top to bottom and took pictures of every room to prove that we left the property in a clean state. 1 month after moving out, we were notified that we were being charged £150 out of our original deposit for “cleaning services” although we had already cleaned the house. When we called dafydd hardy to ask for explanation, we were spoken to by a man that had no customer service and who said to us “clearly our standards of cleanliness are a bit higher than yours” in a sarcastic tone. I did not appreciate this comment at all and found it unprofessional. However, I asked the man on the phone to send pictures of the house to show how “unclean” it was, he sent us pictures via email of the house with things on the floor such as a piece of string, some nuts and bolts and pieces of food. We did not leave the house in this state and have pictures to prove that it was not there, so i am very annoyed at this agency as i believe they have tried to make the house look dirty and charged us for cleaning service when they didn't need any cleaning. Im very disappointed with how we've been treated after moving out by dafydd hardy and i think it's disgusting doing something like that to students who are struggling after university with money as it is. I would understand if the house was a mess, but it clearly wasn't. I don't like complaining especially on a reviewing website however I've not been able to send a complaint in to dafydd hardy and was dismissed when trying to sort it over the phone. Ive attached 2 pictures to this post, one showing that the kitchen was clean when we moved out, and the second picture is the picture dafydd hardy sent me of the “kitchen floor” after they had been in.
