The Romans team at the Yateley office dealt with our house sale in a professional yet friendly manner at all times. They were particularly good at keeping us updated with the progress of the sale and very diplomatic when negotiating the final selling price of the property. We would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Asheligh from Romans in Yatley has been a delight from the get go. She was the first estate agent we met with and we warmed to her straight away. She is an enthusiastic, helpful, clever and kind young lady with a very bright future. Asheligh showed us the first house we viewed, albeit a little over our budget. We totally fell in love with the home but unfortunately the vendors did not take our offer at first. After viewing over 20 other homes we couldn't help but feel the first one was the one for us. Asheligh constantly kept us up to date with the progress of our 'dream home' which we really appreciated. We knew she genuinely wanted us to get this home as much as we did. A month down the line Ashley has pulled it off And secured us this property, we couldn't be happier. Asheligh is full of passion, extremely approcachable and great at her job. Thanks Ashleigh

I already know the true cost of a reference and credit check for even as a private individual it is no way near as much as this. it is essentially robbery to charge this much for back ground checks and referencing especially as this actually come to about 90mins of work.
i would love someone from Romans to explain to my how they have come to this ridiculous cost for prospective tenants and the justification as to why they feel the need to charge this much.

What agent could do to change your mind?
As shown above the agent did not communicate very well and I spent all my time chasing them for information. House moving sites tell you that your estate agent should be dealing with the solicitor on your behalf, but if I had not dealt with the solicitor myself I do not think anything would have been done.

I had to re-write my property particulars as the ones written by Romans were extremely brief and spoke more about the area than the house.
Once an offer was accepted I found that Romans became terrible at communication. They did not keep me up to date with the issues that were occurring and my 'move manager' went on holiday without telling me or leaving me an alternative person to contact.
I received all updates concerning my property from the estate agent I was buying a house from, the one set of people I was paying no money to!. They were fantastic in chasing up my solicitors and Romans - all things that they should not have needed to do if Romans had done what they were being paid for.
On the day of exchange I received calls from the solicitor and the estate agent of the house I was buying to say that exchange had gone through, I did not hear from Romans until the next day.
On the day of completion I did not hear from Romans at all to tell me that everything had gone through, so I dropped the keys in to a very disinterested person at Romans and just hoped that they knew everything was done.
When I got to the new area to pick up my new house keys the estate agent there could not have been nicer and the whole office made me feel happy and welcome and seemed so pleased for me, it was such a contrast.

1 ) Take the time to provide a fair valuation of the house I\'m selling. 2 ) Explain their reasoning why they think the house they are selling is worth more than what Zoopla think.

I made an offer downsizing to a small house marketed at 185,000 and met the zoopla valuation of 168.000. A Romans agent verbally informed me the owner had rejected a 178,000 offer. So I emailed Romans Yateley and asked explanation why their pricing was so different to Zoopla and noted a similar property in the same street recently sold at 170,000.
No explanation or reply has been forthcoming. A reputable agent would at least justify their market valuations.

I would like to commend Luke Strzadala for his brilliant service throughout.
We were very impressed with Luke and his knowledge of the property when doing our viewing. He was a lot better than anyone we had dealt with at the likes of Prospect and Michael Hardy.
He was superb in updating us throughout as to the issues delaying exchanging, and to be honest put my solicitor to shame. Also gave some great advice in certain situations that presented.

I'm just in the process of selling my house with a great deal of support and help from Elliot King at Romans in Yateley.
He is always on hand to give me advice on how to manage the next stage and he has become a trusted “go to†person for me to turn to if I need help. He's held the deal together for me, dealing effectively with my buyer and offering to liaise with the agents I was buying through. He offered the best percentage sales price of his competitors and didn't become sour when he realised that I'd sold the house privately before going to market. I've been very glad to have him on my side and if this sale falls through then I know he is the best placed to sell my house quickly and for the right money. He's worked really hard for no commission and with good grace. I think he's always given me really good advice and I'm very grateful. Outstanding! Thanks Elliot.

I rented a flat through Romans, who seemed the most approchable & helpful when i 1st rang round. I dealt with Nadine, who was both knowledgeable & helpful & made the whole process very easy & also understandable ! When i needed to enquire about anything she was helpful in the extremes, as was Joanne Furlonger ( the property manager.) As there was a lot to take in in my situation, it was most helpfull that Sam wrote down appointments and times on my tenants guide.
The office in Windsor is modern and bright and the staff all seemed to get on so well. Everybody knew what they were supposed to be doing. Unlike another Estate Agents in Windsor where I had previously been! The staff liased well with myself and my land lady and even arranged a meeting for us at their office, which I found most helpful
I would highly recommend Atkinson and Keene for their first class professionalism and understanding in each individuals needs.

My husband and I had been in our house for over 40 years so the maze of selling was all new to us, however from the first meeting with Daniel, the Manager of Yateley Romans, in our home, we were assured we were in safe hands. Each step was explained thoroughly,our asking price agreed to and were lucky to reach that after just a few viewings. The feed back was prompt . Daniel was always available to be contacted by phone or email and dealt with the quries or concerns promptly and with understanding. The process was smooth apart from a small hitch which again was resolved without much delay .We liked the update contact from the branch , all the members of Staff in Yateley were helpful and polite , same for Nick Billson, Move Manager.The Solicitor suggested by Romans was very helpful and we were happy with her service.Thoroughly recommend Romans to take you through the house selling journey.
