I have rented various properties for over 25 years and I cannot stress enough how important a good letting agent is! My experience with letting agents has really varied but I have been with Oakton Estates for 10 really brilliant years and they have been absolutely fantastic! I cannot speak highly enough about the service I have had with them in every single contact.

This is first time ever that I have bid for purchase of a property in an auction. I am sure that I would have probably not done so without Oakton Estates support and encouragement. After the property was withdrawn from the auction in February Andrew Teare kept me updated on the situation. Without this I would have lost interest and not bothered to wait. So all in all experience with your company has been both pleasant and productive. I will have no hestation in using Oakton Estates again or recommending them to a friend. Their service was second to none.

I can honestly say Oakton Estates are by far the best estate agents that I have ever dealt with. From the first initial viewing with Mike who was so welcoming and seemed to really care about finding the perfect property for the right person, to all the correspondence in between with Rachel and Andrew they have been absolutely brilliant. So helpful, kind and professional from start to finish. From this point on I would never want to use another agent other than Oaktons again. I highly recommend them to all, you will not be disappointed.

The best estate agents I’ve used! From the first meeting with Mike valuing my property, I knew it was in good hands! Mike has a friendly and knowledgeable approach and certainly knows the market well. Andrew who then dealt with the viewings and the sale kept me informed at every step of the way and got the property sold within a week! Their fees were also the best in the area, being almost £900 cheaper than the competitors. Overall extremely happy and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again! Thankyou

This is my first time renting my property and Oakton Estates have been excellent from day one guiding me through the process. They have been very quick to deal with any issues that have arisen, and it is clear they definitely wish to do the best for both myself and the tenant. I have been impressed with the resolution of maintenance issues and how transparent the costs have been. All round, it has been a very positive experience so far. I hope to set up another property with them at some point in the future.

General Information Permitted Payments Before the tenancy starts (payable to Oakton Estates) Holding Deposit: 1 weeks rent Deposit: 1 months rent During the tenancy (payable to the agent) Payment of £60 including VAT for changes to the tenancy agreement. Payment of interest for the late payment of rent at 3% above the Bank of England base rate. Payment of a reasonable amount for reasonable costs incurred for the loss of keys/ security devices. Payment of any unpaid rent or other reasonable costs associated with an early termination of a tenancy. Tenant Protection Oakton Estates are a member of Client Money Protect, which is a client money protection scheme and also a member of The Property Ombudsman, which is a redress scheme.
