I recently engaged Mann Estate Agents to find new tenants for a property in Dartford. I cannot speak too highly of the staff in Mann's Letting Dept. I have tagged Tim Knight below, but would add his colleagues Alexia and Ethan. Between them they explained how the whole process would work, from taking photos, and marketting, to showing prospective tenants around, and taking up references. Their knowledge, experience and expertise in respect of the local lettings market was invaluable, as was their advice all along the line. They kept me updated frequently, and were quick and confident in dealing with various concerns that I had. They also made arrangements to transfer Utility Services and Council Tax in to the new tenants' names. The process took a little longer than we might have preferred, but perseverance and thoroughness was justified, and tenants moved in on March 1st. Nothing was too much trouble. I think the most used phrase was "no problem". I am now looking forward to working with Mann's Management Dept. I have already made contact and they have dealt quickly with an initial hiccup.

I advertised my property with Mann in Sidcup 5 months ago. Shortly after Mann closed their Sidcup branch and moved all property files from their Sidcup office to the Dartford office. As a customer I wasnt notified of the closure of their branch had I not received an email from Mann stating that I withdrew my property from the market with them which I didnt. When I called to enquire why i got this email they said my file was not passed to them and they auto withdrew my property from the market. They apologised and told me they will put my property back up right away and email me. A couple of days later I called back stating i didnt get an email that the property is back up the gentleman in the Dartford office confirmed that it has been done. I took his word for it. Fast forward two months, I checked on Zoopla and Right Move my property is only advertised with Acorn not Mann. I called Mann to ask why and the lady apologised and said the property was never put back on the market in the first place. 5 months and Mann failed to even get me one prospective buyer through the door due to poor customer servicer and attention to detail.

This is the second time we have used Mann to manage our letting and we stayed with them because we are so impressed by the service we have been given by Luke. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he is always polite and caring. We like the regular up-dates we get, even though sometimes there is no further news, it is good to know we have not been forgotten. Luke is an asset to the company and if it wasn't for him we may have looked for another agent.
